For some reason, I've noticed that the stones I end up connecting with are not the ones that I believe to be my favorite stones. Weird, huh.

I've started listening to them more, though...although I still have favorites that I just like for no particular reason...I'm going to list the ones that really give me the vibes and update them if they change, too.
:uhhuhuh:

Previously, I'd already noticed my Rainbow Moonstone can do neat things for me.
I've always had and still do have a strong pyrite connection.
Currently, most definitely, fluorite.

And lately, citrine. :vanish:

oh and chalcedony just rocks for me. No pun intended, but hey I'll take it. :bumpsmili

I've a tourmalinated quartz that I came across this weekend that give me awesome vibers, too. I haven't had much time with this one, but I can tell that it's going to be special.

The only connection that I've really noticed not being postive so far is a couple that spaced me out too much once or twice...overpowering because the vibe was so strong...once with my herkimer diamond, and at first when I got my tekitite...I think it was allowing "otherworldly connections" a little too much and I wasn't ready for it.

you are drawn to these stones because you need them. You need to work with them.

I have always been attracted and have the connection with fluorites. :)

As far as I know, two stones that I do not connect well... Lapis Lazuli and Moonstone. (I got sick and got in accidents when I carried them with me)

For me it is moonstone. It seems to have a nack of turning up where I least expect it. A perfect example is last October I went to my local metephysical shop. They were haveing there Annual sale. They always have grab bags, and everyone always has wonderful things to say about these grab bags, as they not just filled it junky stuff. The one I picked had a book on Yoga ( at the time I was actually considering taking a yoga class) but there was also a small bag of moonstone chips!! It just likes to turn up every now and then. I even had some one give a piece of rainbow moonstone. This person I had only met acouple of times, But she said this particular stone was ment for me. Totally Coo!! =)

Blessings!

http://www.gocollect.com/images/ABreedApart/200/70508.jpg Cool froggies! I think I may fall into the 'not so good connection' with Lapis Lazuli, too...I had read about it before I got the stone...and it sounded great, and I wanted to connect with it...but it didn't turn out to be a great stone for me...it gave me uneasy feelings... I guess that's why sometimes they tell you not to look up a stone for a particular benefit, just see which ones you are drawn to...even though I know this, sometimes I just like to experiment a bit...now, I have a grey and white/sort of milky looking moonstone, that I haven't felt is very helpful to me...but I came across a rainbow moonstone that makes me feel awesome most of the time...have you tried the rainbow variety?

For me, i work well with sodalite and hematite :)
Things have definitely improved since i've been wearing them.

I also sleep with rose quartz and amethyst under my pillow :)

Ah... talking about under pillow stones :)

Let me see, I have an Angelite, Citrine, Suglite, Fluorite and Amazonite surrounded by a circle of Amethysts under my pillow. :)

They are for protection and healing during my sleepy time :) - and to my surprise, I have been having really deep sleeps lately.

How do you sleep with all those under your pillow?
Seriously though, since i've put the rose quartz and amethyst under my pillow, things have definitely improved in my life :)

oh yes, sodalite! How could I have forgotten sodalite?!! :awilly:

I have several pieces of sodalite, but the one that I wear all the time is a sodalite heart pendant wrapped in silver, although it's just worn around my neck on a black piece of somethingorother. It hangs pretty low
:heybaby:

sorry couldn't resist that one!

I love that stone and I have this driven feeling from inside that I am not yet connecting with the sugilite ones that I find only because I have not found the exact right Sugilite stone for me!

I never used to think much of sodalite and only bought it cos it looked pretty, isn't that shallow
My sodalite is a necklace too, i've worn it for a few months now, and things have definitely changed since then.
The poor thing often gets lost in my cleavage though

So which one is your pet rock, and do you talk to it?

That would be my rose quartz...i hold it in my hand at night, stroke it and speak to it..though not out loud.
I think it's been under my pillow for about 6 months now and i will say that i have found it easier to give and receive love. It took a long time to happen, but i have seen noticable improvements in my life.

I'm extremely connected to labradorite. I love it so so much. I'm usually always drawn to the ones that have the blue sheen in it though. I have to steer clear of hematite. Other then my tiny hematite bead ring I can't wear or carry any more then that. It makes me pretty sick. Lately I've also been connecting to a big fluorite that I'd gotten months ago and at the time didn't care much for it but lately I love it. :uhhuhuh:
