I'm curious if there are any herbs, or even rituals to help a person with depression!
My husband has good days, and bad days... but recently his days have been bad :( He is on medication, and seeing a doctor, but I'd love to give him a little extra boost!

If he's on medication, be VERY careful about what herbs you give him. St. John's Wort is known to cause deadly side effects for example.
Otherwise, good things to use include Ginko Biloba, Rosemary, Ginseng (memory) or Valerian (insomnia)

Ginseng and Rosemary are two that I have readily available :D I will have to do a bit more research on them!

You may want to talk to your husband first, find out what he thinks about extra supplements, and you should ALWAYS ask the DR

I did speak with my husband first :) And of course I intend to talk with his doctor! I just wondering if there was something I could do ;)

On top of the list... Kava Kava also works similiar to St. John's Wart (mood enchancer) -- again, check with hubby's Doctor to see if there will be any side effects when taken with medication.

Being a stone freak... here are a list of stones that may aid in Depression.
For Depression: Chrysoprase, Citrine, Kunzite, Lepidolite, Lapis, Blue Quartz, Jet, Mmoky quartz, Rose Quartz, Black Tourmaline, Peridot, Botswana Agate, Eliat Stone, Gold, Jet, Lapis, Moonstone, Quartz, Platinum, and Topaz.
Each stone works differently according to a person's sign and attribute. Perhaps, you can Incorporate some of the stone ingredients and herbs in the ritual?
(I have a Rose Quartz under my pillow to promote sweet goodie dream and happier mood)

I take some L-Tyrosine which is an amino acid. Its found in protein too I think. I got mine at GNC. Works well and can work for ADD also.
