Ok wish me luck with the doctor appointment I have today. I think today is the day he's going to decide if I need a pace-maker.

As odd as this sounds I'd rather get a pace-maker than take this medication 2x's a day. The meds make me even more tired than I am normally:/

If it is at all possible to change Docs maybe you should concider it. Are they at least giving you answers based on the results of previous tests? Are they repeating the same tests over and over? Has your Doc given you a definite diagnosis? Do you feel assured by your Doc? You don't have to answer these questions on this post but ask them of yourself. There are many warning sign when you are dealing with a bad Doctor! I was in the medical field for many years and have had contact with a lot of Doctors good and bad! I can now weed them out. Prior to my experiences I always trusted my Docs and expected the best care possible. This is not the case with all Docs. Be safe and always get a second opinion...all insurances have to pay for it under state laws!

Medicaid doesn't pay for 2nd opinions however they do pay for specialists (which is whaat my doctor is) and there aren't too many of them in my area :(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(

My dad is in a similar boat. Tho they feel he needs a pacemaker for sure, they haven't decided whether he can get a brand new experimental one or not. If he's eligible to try it he will be part of a preliminary study meaning he won't even know if it's turned on or not (if it's a placebo or not)! He's been really sick for like 6 years and was diagnosed with diabetes when I was 10. This new one is supposed to make him feel a lot better then he has in the past 6 years. It's tests, waiting, worrying, tests, waiting, worrying, tests, waiting, worrying... on and on... has been that way for the past 6 years... *sighs*

Good luck GoddessofWisdom.
