"the powers that be" are telling us to "be alert", somebody just called the cops to check out people photographing a bulk propane gas storage tank yard. not all that far fetched, i'd hate to think what an api round would do there and there's a very good view of it from a mountain across the river.

there's several of them together and they're right on the bank of the connecticut river, about a mile from me and just off the downtown main drag next to the railroad line and the bridge to new hampshire. if those suckers ever light up i'm going to be hauling ass and burning gas without waiting to be told.

Ok, I'm a very paranoid person and I think that you should definitely leave the area for atleast 2 days if it is in any way possible.
My gut tells me that something is going to happen tomorrow since it's been 1 month since the Pentagon/WTC. Maybe I'm just overly cautious:/

On the news this morning they were talking about the local police were questioning 3 men. These men said they were from the UN and were asking questions about Lewisville Lake at the Army Corps of Engineer's office. They had no UN credentials. Lewisville Lake is a supplier of drinking water to the DFW area. Fortunately we don't drink the water because residents who live near it suspect its not as clean as reported.

Boy..does that have ME thinking. Guess what? Our water has been contaminated for MONTHS. We've all been on bottled water for at least a month and a half now...but..it had already been contaminated for about a month or so prior to that! MBTE, a gas additive, and known carcinogen in our water supply. The current thought is that it could take at LEAST a year to straighten out our water supply. :( People are moving out of town, because of it. You aren't supposed to do your dishes in that water, or even take a bath in it. Unfortunately, my apartment does not have a shower...only a bath tub..so guess what??
There was a town meeting last night, about the health risks. Lots of people have been complaining of reallllly bad headdaches (myself included) since this happened. Chances are, somebody is going to be sued for the leak, if people are starting to get sick.

I'm ALERT and definitly paranoid! I live less than 5 miles from an Air Force base! Everytime I hear a military plane go over head, which is every 5 minutes or so since the attack, I cringe! some of them are so big and/or low that my house rumbles like there is an earthquake!
Danu, I hope that they solve this problem in your area soon! I'ts just awful how nobody cares enough to do the right thing with the clean-up or better yet not even being cautious enough to prevent the pollution in the first place! Blessings to you and your family! May you all stay well!

That really bites Danu. There's nothing like that in our water but its still not trusted. The lake is a big recreation area.
It looks like these people were also camping right on the lake shore. They showed up about a week ago to camp there but they didn't have a tent and were told that they needed one. So they went out and got one and have been there for a bout a week. They were talking with the FBI again today.
I don't really know what to make of it and i'm trying hard not to be paranoid or jump to any conclusions.
