Protection for Family From Specific Person

I'm fairly new to all of this, and would like to perform a protection spell for my family/marriage from my ... MOTHER-IN-LAW.

She's a toxic, evil, selfish, terrible person. I can't even begin to go into how awful she is. She has built a house across the street from us and is making our life miserable. I am in counseling, my husband is learning how to deal with her, and in general we are living on the defensive. In counseling I am coming to the conclusion that she has some varying degree of a personality disorder. I have an 18 month old daughter and I am currently almost six months pregnant.

I am not sure what type of spell to cast, banish negativity? a protection spell? is there anything else that I have not thought of. Has anyone seen a spell to protect you from someone else? I have a few protection spells in general, but I'd like to write my own and tailor it to my own needs.

And thoughts, opinions or suggestions would really be appreciated! PLEASE. My hormonal state of mind and blood pressure can't take much more! TIA!

somethng that immediatly springs to mind is a thought-form. 'create' a guardian for your house, a big dog or something equally protetive and impress on it the role of keeping the mother in law.

give that a whirl.

oh and the obvious, have a weord with her - be strong. failing that, if you are your partner are in agreement get a restraining order on the bitch

if all that fails and you want some other less pleasant suggestions and by that i mean all out nastyness aimed her way then let me know - some possibilities have sprung to mind.

What I would suggest is to cleanse your house first. Smudge, circle your house with white light or salt (whatever works for you). Then, also cleanse the surroundings outside your house - imagine a ball of light sucking any negative energy, including that of your mother-in-law. The ball of light will then be sent back to the earth to be transmuted. You can also intent that circle of white light or salt to KEEP OUT ill intentions (including that of your mother-in-law).

I think you already know. She might have a personality disorder. But, you need to bear in mind that you are pregnant and you have a young daughther. Your health is at stake.

You Will Need:

White Candles (One For Each Loved One)
Craft Knife
Metal Tray
White Cotton
Salt
The Spell:
This spell is best performed when the moon is waxing to full or any time in case of emergency.

Go to your candle-burning altar, taking with you as many candles as you have loved ones, including one for yourself.

With the inscribing tool, carve the names of your loved ones onto the candles, one family member per candle.

Stand all the candles together on a metal tray and bind them with white cotton, thus representing the bond of the family unit.

Sit for a while and focus on a shield of protective white light enveloping your family and keeping them from harm.

Next, take the salt and pour it into an unbroken line around the candles to form a circle.

Light all the candles from the same taper and allow them to burn down.

You could try something that would help her find some kind of peace...I don't know if you can do that for someone else or if it would work, but you could try.

But I agree with Jolantru--keep your health in mind. I think visualization and positive energy are the best way to go.

Freezer spells are great...so are mirror spells to reflect the negativity back to her. You can google that and find a ton or you're welcome to PM me, if you would like.

Holy crap I was just about to post about the same thing, my mother n law. She isn't in the same state but is still causing trouble and I'm going to send all her negativity back to her very soon.

i had trouble with my MIL when we were living with her so i did a simple spell.. I cleansed our room with patchouli incense and as i drew a pentagram in the doorway I repeated 'this is my personal space, you cannot enter into this place'.. after that she never came into our room again it also stopped alot of the trouble too as any contact we had with her was on our terms when we went out into the living room
