Merry Meet and :welcome: to MW.

Well, let's start with the books you have read, what are they, and what did you get out of them? What made you decide to follow the Wiccan path and what are you planning on doing to pursue it further? How much do you already know about Wicca?

Start browsing around the forums and read, read, READ. Get involved in the discussions and don't be afraid to ask any questions - that is the best way to learn. Good luck on your journey! :)

Welcome welcome. I haven't done many rituals yet--still learning--but casting a circle and smudging are always a good place to start.

Well I have read Wicca by Cunningham, alot on the web, some out of religion textbooks and am in the middle of To Ride a Silver Brookstick. I have always felt a connection to nature. I remember when I was younger my favorite thing was to sit outside at night and watch the moon. It brought me piece in my crazy home. I gues it just speaks to me. I am having issued how exactly to start. I live in a small appartment and I guess I need ideas on how to literaly fit stuff into my appartment and still get it right.

Raven Grimassi's Wiccan Mysteries is an excellent book to read if you are looking for a good backround on the history, beliefs, and customs of the Craft...

Welcome. There's lots to learn here. Sometimes all the paganism around here can get a bit overwhelming, but there's no shortage of helping hands here. What got you interested? Did you grow up with any pagan influences?

Actualy my family is catholic and I it just never felt right to me. I felt restrained all the time. One day I just realized that I did not have to agree with them just because they said so. I could find my own path. I believe that people should do what is right for them, what makes them whole and I found something that gives me that feeling.

:hugz: Welcome to MysticWicks! This is a great place to learn, as well as to make some great friends. I agree with you on finding a path for you. I was raised Catholic, too.... but it never felt right. Wish I could help you more on where to start with Wicca, but I'm not very knowledgeable there.
