The Pagan Students Organization at Southeastern Oklahoma State University will be hosting a New Moon gathering Tuesday, Oct. the 16th at 8:30 p.m.. They will meet at the amphitheatre, north of campus and west of the Baptist Missionary building (grin). Stone soup will be served. Those who care to attend/contribute, are ask to furnish their own eating utensils and a cup or bowl. Musicians are encouraged to bring their instruments.
PSO is a college founded Organization which is open to non-students as well as students. They are a new group, this being their second semester. Durant, if you're lost by now, is on Hwy75 and HWY70 in Southeastern Oklahoma; about 20 minutes from the Sherman-Denison area and a bit more than an hour from the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Those of us within a reasonable driving distance (reasonable is at your discretion) are encouraged to come out and support this group as well as meet and greet other Pagans.

I would like to add some info on the New Moon gathering in Durant, Tues. Oct. 16th at S.O.S.U. beginning at 8:30 p.m..
For those unfamiliar with the makings of Stone Soup;
The soup is started with water and a stone. Each one attending is asked to contribute a precooked ingredient of their choice. That way, the more who show up and contribute, the more food. Whoever finds the magical stone, gets to keep it. Let me reiterate "rootworks" message, here. Please bring your own container and eating utensil. This will be more Earth friendly and one person (or two) won't be stuck with so much clean up.
We hope to meet you there!

Hey Druen. :) Please make sure to include Country-State-City-Event-Date in the subject of any announcements. I'd change the title for you, but I have no idea where Durant is. :)

Druen, we haven't met; hope to meet you Tuesday. I had posted this to try and get the word out; I'd learned of this through OKPagans and had emailed Nett that I'd posted it here. I've already heard from a couple of people up around Norman who'd like to come down but they're both in South Texas this week. Blessings/robbie

Bruce, Netta, and everyone---thanks for a terrific time. If there are any of you closet Pagans in SE Oklahoma, listen up! There are a few safe places in this world! The fellowship was terrific and I appreciate the opportunity to have been a part of your evening.:wave:
