Oh Awesome, that sounds like the title to a childrens book. I should write this post in that format. But I will spare you that.

I have a health condition where I have an increase in intracranial pressure which causes headaches and visual difficulties from time to time. One of the surgical treatments for this is a shunt that drains the excess fluid into your abdomen for reabsorbtion.. basically pulling fluid off and lowering the pressure etc. The other night Mol wanted to experiment a little bit with "things". He is so vague. ;)

He is Mr. Electricity btw, very much charged and, well, really too hard to explain. So he was thinking and I was just laying on my stomach looking at him half asleep. He got a nickel and put it near my spinal cord on my neck and moved it around and probably sacraficed half a chicken in his head and my head started pounding. Just like I had done something to raise the pressure. I grumbled my disapproval.

He moved it down to my lower spinal area and it was amazing how it just sucked a lot of energy down and with it I was able to visualise the pressure flowing downward. The nickel got very hot and left a bit of a brand if you will for a few minutes. He has experimented with other coins and none seem to work as well as the nickel.

Anyone have any experience with this type of thing? My immediate thought was magnet therapy because he just tends to magnetise things on many levels. I am not at all suggesting that magnetic therapy is the cure all or that it even has anything to do with this type if result, but it is enough to reinforce a big no thanks to the jabbing of a tube into my brain to do it if my cute husband can do it for a nickel and a smile! I can't really find anything on this particular brand of healing or not really sure where to look. I just thought I would ask and share.

my fist question is: what does a nickel consist of.

i believe somehow, that it was nota magnietic healing in the classical way, where the energy of the magnet works and your body reacts,
but like your body charged the coin (hence it got warm)

so i would possibly work from this angle.

there is TOO much of something in you
energy that is not flowing but stuck in

the nickel helps you release the energy

American nickels are composed of copper, plated with nickel - ratio is 75:25 Cu to Ni.
Copper is one of the best metals for holistic therapies . . . and nickel is magnetic.

As far as what magick our Mighty Mol and his Mini Money did, (there's another title ;) ) I'd say it's quite likely that it was a focus to release energy that was "stuck". I've only dabbiled in magnets and such, so I can't speak well on the subject.

Also where he placed I think is important. In energy work, the base of the spine is where energy is released more easily (along with the top of the head). Assuming you believe that pain can be caused by an imbalance of electromagnetism in the body, such a thing would give a double-whammy.

My advice? If it doesn't hurt, keep trying it. Anything that helps the pain right?

I have a big magnet at the door of my bedroom and temple, for the reason of cleansing anything passing trough.

Go Mol!!

I'm so glad to hear that his method worked! He sounds like a natural healer!

The way I understand magnets work is that they actually pull something (can't remember what now) that's in your blood and cause the blood to bounce back and forth in your vains which increases the circulation to that particular area. And when the circulation is increased, the area can heal better and faster.

It sounds like maybe Mol used the nickle as a focal point to draw the negative energy. It's interesting if he picked the nickle first and it worked and other coins didn't. I wonder if that was instinct telling him which coin would work, or if it worked because that's just the coin he decided would work.

Maybe, as in Reiki, he was just acting as channel or a bridge for the healing energy that comes from the all that is and just followed the messages from his healing guides.

Whatever the reason, it's all good!!

:hugz: to both of you! I hope you keep feeling better and better Semele!

The ladies here at work swear by magnet therapy. They use Nikken magnets, all sizes, which adhere by sticky pads to the skin. The last time I had a migrain, they stuck a small circular one to each temple and in no time, without any medicine, the migrain was gone.

I looked weird, but most folks are used to that! and when I removed the magnets, they each left a circular white spot on my skin and the ring around that was bright red. I felt great, though.

Thanks so much for the explenation

indeed this explains a LOT

i would have rto dig into the nickel more deeply,
but 3 of 4 being the venus mineral copper definately rings a bell with me

you should experiment maybe with copper wire too
and copper minerals.

will do some more research on this and than come up with some stones that might help

chrysokolla and malachite strike my mind immediately of course, along with peacock-copper OF COURSE

today before reading this thread i had been pondering on BUNT KUPFER KIES (german name) a toxic stone, (so none for elixirs) but definately worth meditating on it.

when done, i ll be getting back here.

Xentor; the magnet in the door, a very good idea

Yes, buntkupferkies could be the clue
