Hi there all,

its just a quick question to get me started really, I am wanting to start making/ creating my own banners, but Im not sure what programme you need to have to make them is it something like photoshop 7 or something? I would be extremely greatful if someone would help me here with this. I have no Idea how to make banners and what to do to get started? I am greateful for any help and advice.

I use several different programs to make mine. I really think it depends on what you feel comfortable using.

You can use Paint Shop Pro, which is quite cheap, or the Gimp, which is free. I personally use a vector drawing application known as Expression3, currently bought by Microsoft, and GraphicConverter.

Photoshop (CS) is the best program of all, but it is made for professionals so not everyone will need a program like that (it can be overwhelming because it is oriented towards professionals).
