Magazine Submission Deadline!

Mystic Wicks Magazine is requesting that all writers/columnists/artists submit material for the first issue, which is due out on Yule 2001. The deadline for submissions is Nov. 10th (We are cutting it close for this first issue.)

We are accepting all material including political opinion pieces, family, magick, lesson columns, society related, personal interest pieces, artwork, etc. Being that it is a Yule issue please keep in mind that Yule related material will be especially considered for Featured spots. Also, all artists need to keep this in mind when submitting artwork. Of course, NON-Yule related material is needed and welcome.

All written submissions should be in plain text or Word format. Please send artwork in a windows compatible format. Please make sure we have a good email address to contact you.

Again, the deadline for ALL material to be submitted is Nov. 10th. Nothing submitted after that date will be considered for the Yule issue.

Hi, I'm new here and will intro, asap, but saw this and was v. interested. I have a short, short story that might be appropos (addresses both Yule and Christmas!), just needs to be cleaned up a touch.

Yes, I think I've missed it as well. Actually, I had thought I would submit something, but when I re-read it last night, I didn't like it. Ever do that? Write something, put it away for awhile thinking it was pretty decent, then pull it out again to think "WHAT was I thinking??" Ugh...

...Will this be a monthly or quarterly publication? (that last directed to those working on the zine)

Now if I recall correctly you can still submit late - if you do so you might still be included in the Yule Issue we're working on - so submit ASAP! :)

I would so love to have a column. I love to show off my creative writing side in writing essays, spells and rituals.

But with my last year of high school it was hard for me to get my work typed up and e-mailed in. I was wondering when the next issue's deadline will be?

The first issue of the magazine is not out at this time.

Currently we are working on our first issue, which at this point doesn't have a set deadline. Please submit works to the appropriate address as you wish.

We will let you know when a deadline and publication date are set!

is this thing still going on? i'm new and am interested in seeing it. when i know people more, i'd be more inclined to submit something. but since i'm so new.. i thought it best to wait.

i saw this thread and, since i was egged on to start replying to stuff, i thought i should. this thing sounds really fun. pan would delight in a musing of mine, but he'll have to wait. ;)

herbals, totem animals, tarot, and other such things are what i like the most. rituals get me giddy. :P i look forward to this, really.
