Ok. A while back everyone wanted to hear my voice/music, etc. My studio is in shambles right now because we are moving and because of various other factors. I had forgotten that I still had some acoustic mixes on another machine here. So anyway, I converted one to mp3. Its a cover I did for my dad. Its a Bob Seger tune called "Still the Same." One of his favorites. Its also one of Semele's fav's (my version anyways.)

So here it is...if you want to save it to your hard drive then do a right click with your mouse and choose "Save As" then save it.

Hope you all like it. :D

Oh, its 7 megs, so all you low-bandwidht guys/gals...be prepared to wait a bit. :p

Whoohoo! Mol, that sounds awesome! I'd never heard the song before, but I really like it. It sounds extremely professional and... um... pretty (I just woke up, that's as far as my vocabulary can reach. Give me a few hours and I'll have some mile-long adjectives for ya. :D )

Thank Mythrel! Actually, I have been working with the same drummer and bassist for almost 7 years now. We've become quite comfy. :)

Well, everything on it was a one taker. It wasnt a big production. I think I had 3 guitar tracks (including lead) and 4 vocal tracks. I didnt even play a bass line on that one. Like I said before, it was just something I had whipped up for my dad.

The name of the band is 13 West. All of my personal material will be done under the band name, Van. My personal material consists of a lot of acoustic stuff. But, 13 West is a rock band. Cant hardly put a label on the music we do because its pretty diverse.

Anyway, we are working on our first album as 13 West right now. Sid Falck (Overkill) is producing the record. It should be a good one. As soon as I have any material I will post it. Or rather, it will be put on our bands mp3.com site and I will direct all of you to it.

Well, that was a personal song...so it would never be released. (Plus, its a cover...and I dont have rights. :) ) Its slow because I performed it slow. It was done all digital, so I never even had to worry about varying tape speed, etc. Anyway, my band will have an mp3.com site when our album gets finished. And I will start working on my material again when we move into our new house. It comes complete with a huge spare bedroom which will be neatly converted into my personal studio.

Ah...it will feel so good to have a studio again. :p

Always nice to hear good music ...... I was almost afraid to listen ( my exboyfriend thought he could sing ...owtchies to the ears.....) and was much more than pleasantly surprised .....
AND ..... it is shame you you dont like PalTalk........ there are live music rooms ..... in which you could play .......or you could have your own ...... some of the rooms are music only .....chatting only in text........ I love those rooms......... gee Mol you could play for the people .........

I have to laugh to think of how BAD a singer an ex-boyfriend's of mine is........I tried to tell him DONT SING LOL ......but did he listen nooooooooo, he thinks he is GOOD!!!!!!!!!He sounds like a dying animal ......
But MOL really has a good voice.....
My son plays guitar..... he has a weird quality to his playing ...... when he plays ........even some modern things..... it sounds like those very ancient of ancient celtic melodies...... Guess that makes me a "MOM "...... Yes .....MOM now takes on an entire new meaning for me LOL.........
