My best friend text message me today saying that someone we knew died. I was in shock because I didnt see it coming. I called her up and she told me all that she knew. The girl that died was the younger sister of our friend. I didnt realize that she was living here in Austin and that it had happened here not too long ago. The funerals Saturday so I'll be going back to the coast for it, I'm just sorry that it took something like this to bring us all back together. She was murdered, her friend came back to the apartment and found her by the computer, she had been stabbed to death, she had bruises on her. I always thought that things like this happened to people who were associated with people who were associated with bad things or bad people. She wasnt that kind of person, she was such a smart, sweet, nice girl. I havent seen her or anyone back home in so long, but I remembered that she was such a perky upbeat person who would never say anything or do anything bad to anyone. I'm just so shock that this happened to her. I can understand dying in accidents because that can happen to anyone. But being murdered is something else, I guess even that can happen to just anyone. I just hope and pray that who ever did this to her, gets what they deserve.
Austin has gone to hell, it wasnt like this when I moved here. This week alone there's been two rape incidents not too far from where I live. I live in a very nice, quiet neighborhood. Stuff like this isnt suppose to happen here, but it has been lately. What's wrong with the world today, we have enough going on as it is, why are we doing stuff like this to each other?
