Today I picked up a great magazine called Beadwork by Interweave Press. It had a wonderful article on Beaded Tarot Vessels. The beaded artwork were done in the tarot card theme. Each is a beaded covering for a vessel or perfume bottle. Each shows a different depicition of a tarot card - Universe, Death, Fortune, Judgement, Sun, High Priest, Justice, Hangman, Tower, Magacian. I found the site for the magazine but it didn't show any pictures of the work. If you find this mag on the newsstands, check it out. I can't imagine how many hours it must have taken to do just one of these! The artist's name is Melanie Doerman.

wow, the woman got back to me and the sun vessel is 500$ :( too bad...its a little too steep for my pocketbook! (no reflection on the work, of course) But I won't be poor forever! :D

She was very nice though!

Until then, I can look at the pictures and dream. They are beautiful, though. *sigh*
