Reading Request~

I would appreciate it if someone could give me a reading regarding relationships. I have a boyfriend.....and an ex-boyfriend.....and I want to know what will happen down the road with either of them. A general reading for each is fine. I'm way too close to the situation not to mis-interpret. ;)

Alright Dagda,

I drew three cards for you. One to represent you, one to represent the ex-boyfriend, and one to represent the current boyfriend.

I'm reading from the Enchanted Tarot.

I drew the Sun for you. This card shows a smilng sun shining its rays down upon two robins. The fields are green and lush beneath the warm rays of the sun.

To me, this particular card represents someone who is complete within themselves. You are confident and content with who you are, and need no outside person or thing to make you feel whole. You bring hapiness and joy into the lives of those you come into contact with. People look to you, sometimes *depend* on you for this happiness or fulfillment. The two robins in the card are looking up to the sun as if they're waiting for it to give them warmth and light. Perhaps they represent your ex and current boyfriends?

The Hermit came up for your ex-boyfriend. This particular card shows a man holding an ornate lantern, walking down a pathway. His eyes are fixed on the beauty of the lantern. He seems very focused on it and nothing else. It's precious to him. The scene is at night, and although there are a few stars in the sky, he needs the light of his lantern to show him the path that he's on.

I feel that the hermit is your ex, and you are the precious lantern that has captured his full attention. Although he could stumble along the pathway without a light, (or perhaps he knows he could stumble along through his life without a mate) he knows his journey will be easier with one... and it's not just any light, it's the one that is very special to him. Perhaps your ex feels in his heart that you are the one he wants to have with him on his journey through life?

I drew the five of hearts for your current boyfriend. This card shows a woman surrounded by five hearts; three of them are broken. There is a man in the background with his head hung. This card tells me that although you have love for your current boyfriend, he has broken your heart in some way one too many times. Three broken hearts on the card perhaps signify a type of three strikes and your out. The man in the picture looks sad and perhaps remorseful, but there are only two hearts on the card that are left unbroken, and you aren't sure you want to risk getting hurt again. The woman in the card is looking off into the distance, possibly the future, in the direction opposite the man. She seems to have made up her mind to move on without him. Her eyes seem to be fixed on something or someone else.

Here we go,

I did a simple three card spread: Past, Present and To Come.

Page of Shields: Listen to your heart but think with your head. This is the Badger card. You broke with this man of the past for a reason. Realize the potential in that. We all seek a new beginning but it is easy to revert to the past. I know not who broke with who but, it matters not. There was a reason; ponder upon it.

Major (4) The Emperor: This is a tough one. At present you weigh what is before you. This is heavy on your mind and heart. Solitude, for the now, seems the best option but do not be hasty. These things take time. Meditation and thought can be your best friend at this time. You are at an impasse.

4 of Cups: To come: Be careful, and thoughtful, of your mind. Your heart leads you right now. Think!. I see lust and anger, at the same time. Curb any lust you might harbour and use your mind. The moon is not in your favor and could mislead you. Again, Think! Use your head right now, your heart could be misleading.

You Now ~ Five Of Cups ~ Right I asked for your spread due to this weekend, and this card puzzles me ~ I got the impression that it was something exciting but this card speak of regret and emotional undercurrents it can also mean letting go of something or someone. Someone is leaving the woman in the card and she is trying to stop them. I think something has upset the balance again (not left but done something to make you think big time!) and caused you to feel emotional and distressed a bit at the thought of this decision, but you can see the way out of your distress and ahead and what you have to do.. you have to let go and go forward.

Crossing you ~ The Chariot ~ The ride, keeping everything balanced and to plan.. you like to stir away and go and explore over there for a while before you head back again, then you go full steam ahead again but if only you had blinkers on then you couldn’t see the other things at the side and again go off there again and lose your sense of direction. Its about direction isn’t it! Forward!

Your thoughts ~ Six Of Pentacles ~ This is a two way card on two different levels..Giving to someone, letting someone give to you! You have realised and are thinking allot more about taking care of those around you because you know they ultimately take care of you, you know there are sacrifices to be made but these will all be for the greatness of love in the end. Your thinking about the future and about your family and home allot more too.

Problem ~ Four of Wands ~ That passion again! And a sense and need to be free and go wild for a bit. Although you are earthy and a home, nurturing woman you also like the fantasy of wild adventures and fun and this often stirs you away and has to do with the Chariot! You know! This isn’t a problem but it can get the better of you…

Recent Past ~ Ace of Pentacles ~ New propositions I feel, this has also to do with someone in the first card ~ made a big impact then before what has happened recently and a new start has been coming round to do with the home, family, money and work. I get ‘Will you marry me’ very strongly and hope Im ok writing this.. arrgg this LDR is hard sometimes!

Coming up ~ Ace of Wands ~(lol another ace, and notice earth and fire again at either end of the cross. Two Ace either side of the five. Two even cards either side of the five the other way! All fits doesn’t it!)
Again a new start! But this one with a new courage and commitment, new passion, drive, desire and force! A new you! Or the old you back again with all the confidence, love, joy and laughter you used to have! He is holding the world globe in his hand and you will be too, he is holding it for you and you are his world ~ whatever has come up needs to be thought about and if you make the right decision and accept and ride the chariot this will come about!

But I get on the other side there is the Tower and the Moon so im not sure if you are going to stir straight again, you may go off to the side for a while and back pedal… Ick! This is hard…Maybe these mean more to you then I can see at the moment…
But one side is new start and the other illusion, distruction, loss, regret maybe because of a break down of something…….
Lots of balances with the cards but also imbalances going on.

Your hopes ~ Page Of Pentacles ~ Another new start card in my opinion ~ You want a new beginning a new light and love in your life as a child! I get your need for another child here and your dreams of a bigger family. A loving, secure and happy family! You want things to change, you want to look positively into the future filled with a plan of love and happiness.

The Final Outcome ~ Three Of Pentacles ~ Something is going to come about and be successful from your earlier actions whatever you choose ~ this will have more to do with further planning and working with someone else ~ your two dreams ~ working more on yourself, with Jamie, your overall outlook or with work colleagues themselves. This is going to be fun and productive but will need some thought as you will need to work with others, give and take and plan.

I drew a final one and got the Three of Cups ~ (another three!) So I think this is going to be on a material emotional level that your going to have to work with someone as a team, together in commitment!!
