***Recent stuff:***

My cockatiel, Yukito. Once finished he'll be perched on a birdfeeder with a tree trunk in the background. Scanned it up now in case I end up smudging all the detail into oblivion. The tail is around an inch too short, but I ran out of paper...

Doodled throughout the course of a schoolday.

My hard drive recently crashed and this is one of my few digital art pieces I had uploaded to the internet beforehand. :(

***OLD Stuff*** (stuff I think I may have already posted at MW at some point in time)

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v260/Lainyle/napkinmission.jpg
I wanted to try my hand at comics, but alas, discovered that a sense of humor is required.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v260/Lainyle/kitbackanimated.gif
A short cockatiel animation.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v260/Lainyle/arthur2.jpg
Arthur the golden retriever.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v260/Lainyle/mori.jpg
My favorite piece, Mori the green-cheeked conure. Done as a gift for a friend. :)

For evidence of how quickly I improve in my art, compare this cockatiel to the very first one in this thread.

Very old piece.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v260/Lainyle/lainylehorsedesert2.jpg
Quick doodle of a horse.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v260/Lainyle/sugarglider.jpg
Two very old sugar glider inkings.

Done out of foolishness. I was a bit hyper in the making of this... just a bit.

More to come.

EDIT: This is Lai. *blink* I am now very confused.

My computer's been crazy lately, crashing all the time... I don't know if I'll get a chance to upload much. Here's one I did today during school:

Thank you. :)

I really messed this one up... the leaves make me wince. The watercolor pencil was much darker before the water was applied, and after doing so it lightened unbelievably and ruined the picture. :( I was going to throw it away, but my father took it away from me before I could.

WOW! That very nice...I can't get watercolor penicils to work for the life of me. I see nothing wrong with it, looks very very nice. :abanana:

:D Very wonderful work! And NEVER through aways anything you do! :) It can always lead to a new idea or direction! :) Can't wait to see more.

Watercolor pencils are fun. I'd use real watercolors, but I'm too cheap.. don't even have paintbrushes, for that matter. My latest "brush" of choice to apply water is the quill of a feather. Someday I'll buy real art supplies, but until then, I'll practice.

This one will likely remain unfinished. I just wanted to get some fantasy art out of my system. :)

Nice work. Very. My favorite is "Mori the green-cheeked conure."

Mori turned out very well... funny, how everything I draw for others does, but anything for myself is half the quality.

This is a rough sketch for my next watercolor project. The nose needs tweaking, and although the eyes look odd, sugar glider eyes really do without the black fill-in. Big eyes and tiny pupils do that.

Sorry for the bad scan, too. All of my sketches are very clean and light, and so thus difficult for the scanner to pick up. It's why I don't scan too many of these.

A graphic I plan to use for my sugar glider website. I had a lot of fun with it.
