a question about herbal remadies

Merry Meet Everyone!

I have a question....what would be a good herbal recipie(cant spell today for some reason!) to help with symptoms of Siezures? and what about one to help relieve stress??? I have had seizures since I was 3 months old and the meds they had me on just Dope me up and make it to where i cannot do much of anything constructive....any help would be appreciated

I would recomend that you find a certified herbalist or an homeopathic healer in your area. They will have to look you over to make any diagnois. I'll check in my notes to see what herbs can be recomended but I would suggest that before taking any of these, read up on them and speak to a certified herbalist first.

Is usually Dilantin or Depakote or Tegretol.....or even phenobarbitol but not as frequently ...... all of which are very strong medications..... and NOTHING to be stopping without telling your doctor ......
Depends on what kind of seizures you have.... and your history of same..... petit mal grand mal Jacksonian tonic clonic ..... etc..........and the number and frequency of occurrences......... I STRONGLY advise you to to discuss this with your doctor first....... it isnt unheard of that doctors leave people on seizure meds for long preiiods of time without re-evaluating the effectiveness if the person remains seizure free..... some children have even been placed on these meds for febrile siezures and left on them.............well past the age of the occurance of febrile seizures.......
and see if you cant have your meds changed by your doctor so you arent too sedated.............
before you try any herbal remedies.........

I was taking Tegretol XR(extended release tablets) for Grand Mal seizures.
They had me taking 1000mg a day of them..they made it to where i couldnt even get out of bed without help....i was seeing triple and even quadruple at times....I told the doctor about it....and he still wanted to boost my dosage to 1400mg a day!!! i couldnt take it anymore!!! those anti-convulsants made me sick! I have been off the meds for over a year now....havent had a single seizure since...its just that from what i can tell my seizures are mostly "stress-induced" although according to the MRI i had last year i have three areas in my brain (two on the right side and one on the left) where my blood vessels twist and turn like a labyrinth and leak small amounts of blood into my brain.
