Could someone please post the grades for the titles under our names again. I know it is probably stupid but feel as though I am accomplishing something when my title changes. I was under the impression that after 75 posts I would be a theoricus. Now I am almost to 100 when my title should be practicus. Is the grade system still working? If not that is okay I can still change it my self.

Could do with some clarification on this myself as I haven't a clue what it is!

Same here! And I still can't figure out how to change it myself! I was wanting to change it to something like "Wonder Witch" or "Amazon Wannabe"!

Dex: Go to your profile. There should be a box there to change it.

where it says neophyte, zelator, etc. A while back eaglewolf posted a grade system for me explaining what the titles meant under our names. I was looking at the list and had noticed that my title had not changed. I was just wondering if it had been turned off or if the grading had been changed?

The grading has not changed, and I can not see where(if) the system has been turned off (looks like it is on to me), and do not know why it is not working... if you still want the list I can post it for you, or you can change the title yourself.
Let me know :D

I changed your title, but you can do so also from your profile...
Click [profile] at the top of any page... from the menu bar click [edit profile]... under your birthdate you will see [custom user text]... that is your title :D ...
...hope this helps...

should I ask you or mol about the grades?

I figured out what the problem was with your title...
It is working now, and will change with your post numbers again.
If you want to set your own title, just let me (or mol) know and we will set it up for you.

Please do not change my title for me! I just wanted the titles to change so I can track my progress. Thanks again eaglewolf. You are my hero!

I figured that is what you were hinting at ;).
It should work for you now...

Am being a real dumbo here. I went into my profile (actually managed to obtain my signature and quote), but when I looked at my birthdate, there was no "customer user text" under it at all. The next box below was "Biography". I don't mind being a "neophyte", after all, I'm quite new to the site (even though it seems I've belonged for years!), but "Grandmother Silverhead" is much more apt!

Don't forget, this grading system is like the points on the Drew Cary show "whos line is it anyway?". They mean NOTHING!
As a moderator I started off with 500 posts!! Big deal. The only thing that matters is you are here and we love you. If it's that big a deal, I'll give someone all my posts so they can be Big MuckyMuck. 8O
Peace,

There should be one there now... take a look.

Twig is right, but there are some people who enjoy tracking their progress... and there is nothing wrong with that either.
Titles are just that, titles, and like labels they really don't mean much... there for fun and recognition, not status.

Bingo! Mine's actually a very sarcastic stab at some within my peer group who think they're better than anyone else because of their title (no one on this site that I've seen yet, mind you). They'd actually be horrified if they saw it. Hey, someone's gotta keep 'em on their toes!

Thanks for clearing that up Shatav. I thought maybe it was the etiquette of the site or something.
The titles thing is one of the reasons that I have generally stayed solo, with the occasional foray into the odd coven or lodge. Too many High Priestess's and Adepts around who think their title earns them brownie points;) Ego's abound!!

In case you missed my post, you should be able to change your title now, if you choose to do so...

Thanks Eaglewolf, will probably wait to change my title as I am dead on my feet and have to catch up with my beauty sleep. Besides, after what I've just said about ego's, it might be seen as a tad hypocritical! honestly, now I know that the titles are just a bit of fun, I'm all for it.
No Ego-mongers here Shatav! :uzi:
