to do a reading for someone when you have a favourite card
or cards in the deck you are using and NOT influence the translation of the reading cards because of your favoured card/cards???

I have favorite cards. They come up as rarely as every other card. I'm not sure how a card being your favorite is going to change the translation. It means the same whether you favor the card or not. I can attach my own meaning to a card and it will then mean that when I do a reading, but not necessarily when someone else is doing the reading. Maybe I'm not understanding the actual question. Not sure?

I believe and practise that ~ You can ask for your favourite cards to come up to secure a question and if they do you have a really strong positive message there saying yes or no (depending on your question..)

& attach meanings or people to your cards.. I have a few cards for me, one very strong card for my father, one for my mother, a few for my sister, a few for my bf, a really happy card, a love card, a new begining card, deception card..etc... and when these come up I immediatley smile as the message is strong...

But most of the time your favourite cards will stay in the deck..

They only come out when you really want them ~ to give you a strong message :D

So I wouldnt worry.
