Indecisive Knotwork poll

Okay, I carve. I also now work 3rd shift, which gives me a lot of time to do the fussy work of laying out the pattern. I've decided for my next project to do an altar/wall pentacle with knotwork panels in the negative space. Worked out 5 options for the outside triangles(rough.. would be a bit more precise when sketching them out on the wood) for a 8" round. I still need to work on inner triangles and pentagon. I rather like all of them though and so am being indecisive.

So, wondering... Which do you like? see pics... has letters a-e in pics.

A and c are the two I would chose between .... ok the more I think about it the A one. :fpraise:

I like a and b the best, probably because they have pointy edges and therefore seem more delicate, if you know what I mean... Good luck!

Ranked from most favorite to "least" favorite (I don't want to say "least" because I like them all!) I'd have to say:

A > D > E > B > C

Well, played with it last night... went with A for this one. I still need to work out a panel for the pentagon in the middle (or decide on an alternative.)

That looks awesome! I'm excited to see it when it's finished. You must promise to post a pic then! ^_^ Ummm... for the inside, you could do some kind of triskele design. Something similar to the design I've attached? I don't know... Whatever you do, I'm sure it will look wonderful. I mean, you obviously have a good artistic eye already. ^_^

Isn't knotwork fun to draw? I started learning how to map it out last summer, and I've been finding myself making simple designs on my notes in class this year...
