dream about worms/parasites

I had a dream about worms infesting my right hand, they were like parasites. they ate all of my fingers except my middle finger on my right hand......
some were brown worms, others were clear.
the brown ones just wrapped around my arm, and hand and ate at me, the others had a pattern they went in, like in lines. Very strange.
any ideas?

Well I guess it depends how you view the worms

Worms can help make things fertile and ready for growth


Or they can be like people "worming their way into your life"

Hands represent your state of being (as in hand on heart, open handed, I can't handle it, wash your hands of something) etc so it would be useful to note how you held your hand

The middle finger can be a sign of anger or the phallic symbol.

So I think your dream could be a sign that you are sticking the finger up to the world and are preparing to make things grow in your life

I know in the dream I watched them eat at my hand, but not in fear. more so in amazement. especially the ones that made a pattern. Then afterwards, I showed my boyfriend what happened, and at that point my hand started to grow back. I was getting all my fingers back.

I think this has to do with my current job situation. I have one job that i dpon't like, and the other is more my type of job. I've been trying to quit the first job, but they kept trying to get me to stay.
Today I did tell them I would finish out the week, so I'll have to see how things go.
