First time scrying

Reciently my boy friend's mother bought me a crystal ball so I could practice my scrying. I must admit, I am ver new to it. I have never tried scrying, but I am very excited to. I was wondering if anyone could give me any useful information on it. Any websites and what have you. I'd deeply appreciate it. ^^ Thank you!

Well, I guess you can sort of say I'm a beginner as well, even though I've had my ball for a couple of years. I just rarely get the time to sit and pour over it.

They SAY to look at it unfocused like. Don't *stare* into it, or else your eyes will hurt. Just sort of look at it with an "unfocused gaze." Sort of seeing it but not. You know, like when you are staring at something without knowing it because you are thinking of something else? Like that. And just OPEN your mind. Free up debris before you sit down to it. And get the mood right before as well. Meditate and open a circle, then close it. Ground yourself and protect yourself as well.
