Wasn't sure which forum to post it in. It could easily fit into Magick and Rituals, History, or Theology and Philsophy. So...since I couldn't decide, I'm posting it here. This is a wonderful link about other holidays which celebrate those who've passed on, besides Samhain.

I had a Buddhist best friend who, whenever a friend died, her family set up a beautiful elaborate altar, with picture and incense and food offerings, and kept it up for a month or so to honor them.

Just babbling and sharing. Did I mention the four cups of coffee? ;)
