What do you use pendulums for? And how?

It is a form of divination which we use to communicate with spirits and learn the future. A proper definition: A simple tool used for communicating and gaining guidance from the spiritual world. You do not have to be psychic to use a pendulum. It is moved by either your thoughts or someone in the spirit who works thru you, usually your spirit guide. Most people use a board or chart with their pendulums. They work with their pendulum 1/2 to 1 inch above the board or chart. The first thing You would do with one is to get the feel of it and how it will move for you.
Pendulums movements for me are:
Yes: an up and down direction.
No: a side to side direction
Maybe: a diagonal direction from lower right to upper left corners.
Won't tell: is a diagonal direction from lower left corner to upper right.
Most questions asked when using a pendulum will have a Yes or No answer.
The faster the movement, the stronger the energies. If the pendulum does not move at all, then you must stop and try again at another time,or find another way to channel.

I have not tried pendulums yet but I read that you can use anything you want for a weight on a length of thread. The book I read suggested that you use something like a ring which has some weight and means something to you as it is more connected to you. I am hoping to try it next time I have a question with a ring that i wear every day.

I use a pendulum during reiki healings to see if chakras are spinning smoothly and in the correct direction. My 9 yr old uses and loves his. He has been working with his for awhile and his will tap on a glass and tell him the time to the nearest hour. It's really alot of fun.
I have a friend who uses a sewing needle tied to a thread for her pendulum. It's whatever works for you.....it's merely a tool....
