Reiki guides

I was just reading some reiki book. Well specifically "The magick of Reiki by Christopher Penzac H mentioned something called reiki guides. They are basically spirit guides that help you with Reiki. Do you have them? What are they like? How have they helped you? Sorry if this had been done before.

That's youtr first mistake - Penzack. He's too fluffy for my tastes. I don't like his take on Reiki at all.

That said, he is right about Reiki guides. Many people belive them to be the spirits of other Reiki Master that stop in to give oyu a hand form time to time. Mine usually let themselves be known by the impression of hands on mine when I am helaing, and occasionally give me directions. Such as "use this symbol instead" or "try focusing on the mudalahara charkra instead." Things like that.

It's different for everyone, but they will make themsleves known to you if you ask, and will help you as well.

I do a meditation in my L1 class for my students to meet their Reiki guide/s...however for ME, I have found that I have the same angels/guides that around me all the time.

Do I think Reiki guides are a part of Traditional Reiki? No
Do I think healing guides are there? Yes and No...I feel you have guides, but you don't have one guide for healing, one guide for this and another guide for that. I think it is one and the same guides for it all.

Yeah Penzac is a little too fluffy for me but I think his techniques are good sometimes. Plus I met him and took some little two hour course about healing magic and he was nice and he seemed pretty knowladgable. So Im kinda torn thatnks for the input so far guys.

Hi. I'm only a level 1 practitioner, but I do work with guides. I have 5 animal totems, my Arch Angel, as well as the spirits of Reiki masters ascended and yet to ascend. I work with these guides in all aspects of my life, not only when performing Reiki.

Yes I do have reiki guides and my first guide I came to know as my 'Reiki Guide' was Angel Samuel who gave me the strength and courage when I needed help. I also know I have other guides as spirit animal form. A black jaguar to be precise who has just led me to another part of my path. I have also known an Owl to be with me. Another spiritual guide I have with me is a lady named katherine.

Usually when I know a spirit guide is near I will feel a warm pressure on my shoulder or the back of my neck.

i got to see some of my reiki guides during my reiki I attunement. it should be noted that my reiki guides are not all human. one is a gnome and a couple others are stone people.
its interesting for me to see who comes out when i do reiki especially since i also call on the healing guides and angels of the person i am working on.

I have worked with guides, and I can feel them near me when I practice. I do belive that I have one reiki guide that communicates with me, I see her in every meditation and I have also seen her before my first attunement.

I do know that there are other reiki guides that work with me when I work, and I know that there are other guides who work with my reiki guides. I do belive that each guide has a specific purpose, though I don't belive it is as easilly categorized as we would like it to be.

I ma also of the firm beleif that our Reiki guides, work with us and guide us to the path of reiki long before we ever know it, and much longer before we ever take Reiki 1. I have many students who's experiences prior to learning Reiki have confirmed this theory for me.

So that's my opinion in a nutshell.
