I'm a big meanie. I've been uber buisy with classes and personal issues and friends and family that I've actually neglected both my tarrot and my oracle decks...
Now, I'd like to put them to play and I've never done an online reading before, so I'd like to try it out... if anyone has a question or would like to help me get back into the reading groove by testing it out for fun, pm me and we'll see how it goes :)
Please mention if you want tarot or oracle... in the pm...

oy... I've been doing good then all of a sudden I think I gave someone a crappy reading! It's so wierd how I was all of a sudden unsure and the reading turned bad last minute... :S I'm so sorry... I was exhausted!!! ... ...does that count at all?!?
you know who you are, I sent you a pm... send me one back and I'll see if I can fix it.

I just want to give you some advice....
I also had a break from tarot reeading, and i jumped back into it straight away, thinking i would be able to read the cards clearly with no problems.... BIG MISTAKE!
I'm just advising you, not to jump back into reading for people straight away - treat it as though you are a total beginner, getting to know your cards again. It's just like any other talent/skill, when we have some time away from it, the next time we try it we are not as good as we remembered.
After i spent sometime getting to know my cards again, my readings became a lot more accurate, and it was well worth it! Try some techniques, like just spending some time with them shuffling them, laying them out, and going through the cards.
I found something that helped me (and is also great for a beginner) is going through every single card, putting it in the middle of some paper and brainstorm from what you see - work through them quickly, jotting down words or sentences that comes to mind. Then, think of a situation in your life that reminds you of this card. Do this with every card - it's amazing how much more accurate your readings become, you are associating the cards with something personal that has happened to you.
Just thought i'd give you a bit of advice :)

wow. thank you. that is verry good advice.
and I was also quite worried, since I had done a few readings and it was something like 3 am... I was getting tired and I told myself it was my last reading of the day... I had done fine and was supprised at how fast I jumped back into it and they were accurate and good... then all of a sudden... :eyez: :foh:
I've done that with my oracle deck on occasion... I find my readings from there faily good and they always shock people with just how much they know and with the responses and readings they get... but tarrot... I've actually never taken the time to do that for... nothing THAT in depth... I'll give it a shot. Maybe It would mend the rusty kink my fingertips discovered while flipping and analysing the deck.
once again. thank you.
