is associated with the Goddess Sif...

I've found conflicting answers in my research...

1. ger...harvest, plenty, corn is ripe...hair color of ripe corn

2. feoh...wealth

3. beorc and wynn...

I am planning a painting of Sif and I wanted to use a rune pendant headdress on her flowing blonde hair but wanted to know which rune it should be and of course why

thanks...

I'd go with Jera, harvest... but association of Sif with corn is unlikely... corn (maize) was brought to Europe post-Columbus from the New World... Sif's golden hair would represent ripe grain (wheat, oats, etc), or flax, I think...

ooooh yes flax, undoubtedly flax...like flaxen hair...

...or hair the color of shifting wheat in sunlight...

cool info about corn...Thanks Rick!

I'd also go with Jara myself. It seems the most obvious. Though, in the rune poems associated with Jara, all references are almost exclusively given over to the male god of harvest and abundance - Freaj (Freyr). Just be aware of this.

I agree with everyone. Ger would be my choice as well.
