Hi, as you know i research grand sextiles, in 1977 i found two, but im only putting on thread the one that had sextile orbs under 4 degrees...This was an all planetary pattern!
Im not going to try to interpret, but im wondering if Saturday Night " Fever" associated with 1977 could have other meanings symbolically.
1977 was connected with the masses enjoying popular music in an exciting environment of a disco, that many older people felt would be immoral at the time.
The deduction is that the opposite sexes enjoying music together, that was a world wide phenomena, was bound to increase sexual transmitted deseases, and may create a few new viruses.
Karma is all about balance, so it is interesting that the last recorded case of Smallpox was in 1977, yet the source time of A.I.D.S. was also approx. 1977...the end of one plague and the beginning of another!
Most astrologers now admit there are musical connections in astrology and the Cosmos, so perhaps we should study the chart and documents on attachment, as a group to see if there is anything to learn from the planetary patterns involved with 1977?
As a closing note, although i try not to be impressed by prophesy, i must admit that Saint Malachy has gained my interest with his prophesies regarding the Popes.
Before Pope Benedictus XVI was elected, his prophesy of " The Glory of the Olive" gave a Benedictine flavour, it seems that yet again this Saint that lived nearly a thousand years ago has the very rare ability to be accurate, I was wondering if any readers could give an astrological feel to this alarmingly accurate prophesy.

The list of popes that Malachy prophesied can be found here:

http://www.catholic-pages.com/grabbag/malachy.asp

This current pope would be the penultimate pope, according to the prophesy. The next one, "Petrus Romanus" will oversee the destruction of the Catholic church. This is apparently one prophecy that the Catholic church do take rather seriously!

Malachy said about the final pope: "In persecutione extrema S.R.E. sedebit Petrus Romanus, qui pascet oves in multis tribulationibus: quibus transactis civitas septicollis diruetur, & Judex tremędus judicabit populum suum. Finis." which translates to: "In extreme persecution, the seat of the Holy Roman Church will be occupied by Peter the Roman, who will feed the sheep through many tribulations, at the term of which the city of seven hills will be destroyed, and the formidable Judge will judge his people. The End."

Given that this means that the new pope is going to be the last pope before Petrus Romanus, you'd think they would have chosen someone a bit younger, to give the church a few more years!

Given the controversy in the past surrounding the Catholic church and whether it did or did not cooperate with the Nazis during WWII, it does seem odd that they've chosen to select a pope who was actually a member of the Hitler Youth as a boy.
