No straight answers

Why is it the Tarot never seems to give straight answers.. well for me anyway? Does this happen to anyone else?
You ask a question and half come out postive and half don't...

Suppose its the Tarot sense of humour to tell you nothing is set but I find it annoying sometimes ;)

Whats everyone elese thoughts?
& Can anyone recommend a way to actually get a straight answer

Sure,....just ask it what you need to do pertaining to....the situation.

Remember, it's all in how you ask the question. :D

Maybe because every card has a positive and a negative meaning... :cool:

Then do a reading in which you ask the cards why the hell they can't be serious ;)

Yep, not long ago I was in a minor crisis with myself and did a reading in hope to find advice what to do to feel better again. I got the "World". Didn't make any sense to me in that situation so I started all over again, drew another time and got the world again. Did it a third time and what did I draw? The damn World...my that was scary!
At least the cards seemed to be pretty sure what they they wanted me to know...

I still have no clue what they meant... :T

This situation has happened to me before.

I asked the cards, (this was a while ago, btw) if I would attain my desires of becoming an actor or screen writer. Every time it came up with the vaguest answers. It was really quite annoying. but hey, what are ya gonna do?

Yup, nothing is set, or in my case often its "haha you don't need to know yet". I always get that in a reading for myself, ALWAYS! Sometimes if I ask the same question too often they really get silly. With my faerie oracle deck you can literally hear them giggling. Once a friend of mine wanted a reading for whether her business would do well, for about the 80th time, and you literally heard the cards go "well duh!" and the card depicted a woman with her arms spread and mouth open - she looked like she was literally saying it! We all laughed so hard. :)
