It raises an interesting point, though... why do you think there are usually many more women then men involved in paganism.....?

And why are there usually more women then men in wicca and more men then women in Asatru?

My theory.... is that women are more drawn to a spirituality that honours the divine feminine... finally. It's such a relief to find a spiritual space that is actually woman friendly.

As to more men in Asatru... my understanding of that spirituality (and i do stand to be corrected) is that Asatru is more self-involved and more ego-centric.... and that is more in keeping with how boys and men are culturally trained in our society.

Male... Also American living in New Zealand. So to paraphrase Joni Mitchel...I've looked at beer from both sides now... Come here if you want to have some REAL beer. I'm diabetic so thats thing of the past, but when I drank it was the occasional beer, Harrington's Cider ( possibly one of the best anywhere) OR Tullamore Dew, Irish, neat, or Glenfiddich, Single Malt Scotch, also neat ( the way God and Goddess made them ) As far as the male-female odds go, it just goes to show that there IS a Goddess.
