Have you ever told a lie and then a while later convinced your self it was truth? Now you don't know if it is a lie or if its real? Like a memory for example.

Yes
I used to think I was always right. Now, even though I still think it, I question the possibility I may be wrong. _tomatoe_

Not that I recall, but then if I'm convinced it's true, I wouldn't remember it would I? That is the best way to lie though. Sometimes I'm amazed at how my friends will lie about somethign to one person, and then tell others (like me) the truth, and that they were lying, and are shocked when they are found out. When I go telling lies I make sure I tell the same lie to everyone, and keep it going. Eg. if I pretended to be sick so I didn't have to goto school, I would tell my parents I felt bad. if my sister asked I'd tell her the same. When the teacher at school asked, same again. If my friends ask, same story etc. It just goes on forever and you never reveal the truth. It's safer that way.

I don't know if I've convinced myself that a lie was real. It's possible, however if I have done that, I wouldn't tell anyone anyway, because that would go against my system wouldn't it? :floating:

That's a good way to lose yourself. Honestly(if that word belongs in this thread). In truth, there are times when I have convinced myself that a lie was truth, because it was necessary for me to do my job in service to my country, but it was never a lie that I had initiated. It took a long time afterward for me to remember that it was a lie, too. Now, I have to question all of my memories of that time because of it. It's not something I'd advise trying.

I have, in past relationships. It was kind of the trend, you see. _firedevil
