I've never had such a vivid dream in my life. I had this dream a couple of years ago......

a little background: when i was 18 I got pregnant, me and the father broke up before i even found out I was pregnant... At 10.4 weeks, I lost the baby, and have mourned his loss ever since...

in the dream, I was in some sort of school, and I looked out to the door, which was closed, only to see Jayden (my son) standing outside the window, with his Daddy, and he was waving at me. I remember feeling totally overwhelmed by it, and I couldn't believe that my son was right in front of me. I went over to see him, and then I was in the school corridor and Jayden was with his Daddy behind some swinging doors, holding his hand, and waving at me. He mouthed the words 'I love you Mummy' to me, and then just stood smiling at me, still holding his Daddys hand. I couldn't get to him in my dream, but I didn't mind, my eyes were just fixated on Jayden, I was trying to take in all the details of him, and all the while, I was overwhelmed, and amazed that he was there....

soon after that I woke up, but had this feeling of total calm, for the first time since I had lost Jayden.....

I know that this dream was significant, why would it have stayed with me for so long otherwise???

I have my own opinion about what different things are symbolic of, and what the message of the dream was, but I would really like to hear others thoughts on it.....

thanks in advance,
Emma

Well, in my opinion, it sounds like he came to you to show you that he was alright. He wanted you to feel at peace and be able to go on with your life without wondering "what if" and all those wonderful questions you ask yourself. As for him being with his father it may mean he is sticking closer to him because somehow he needs him. He knows you can handle not having him him around and that's why he appeared in your dream.

Or it could just be your mind's way of saying that everything is ok. Either way the interpretation of the dream rests solely on you as the dreamer. Hope this gives some insight. BB

thank you for your input on this :) My interpretation was very much similar, however i didn't think of the fact that maybe his Daddy needs him (or at the time needed him) more than I do - that is actually very true....

thank you so much!
