I am in darkness, completely without light
And it is because of this that I have lost my sight.
I am alone yet I know this to be untrue
Even without vision I know that I am with You.
Please take my hand and show me the way
For in this darkness I do not want to stay!
Health and happiness is what I seek
But in this state I feel much too weak
To fight alone.
So I ask for You
To help and guide me through.
