I agree with Mol & Dagda on this matter...if you think they casted a spell on you, you are giving them power. so dont even acknowlege them.

Are you actually feeling the effects of the spell, or are you just imagining these things? I have to agree with the others so far, try not to dwell on it and just go on living your life.

If you are really concerned, you can try doing a protective spell, putting a protective circle of light around your house and yourself. You could probably even enchant a mirror to reflect any negativity she sends your way back at her. These would be my actions.

demonblade666 - 99% of the time when people think there are those "casting spells against them" etc. no one is. I'd have to know whether someone just told you she was casting spells or if you had some proof. In general, either way, the most effective protection against a witch is to realize that you are strong enough that her spell will just bounce off.

Why not?, Myst... a negative thought process I believe....energy, karma, even if they... don't believe... someone has put a spell on them... the thought of... getting someone back... is negative energy being sent out...wouldn't you agree? Or am I wrong? I very well could be ya know :)

Uhm, maybe. Tho there are a lot of people here who wouldn't get themselves caught up in worrying about thinking bad things, there are many who don't follow the Rede or believe in karma the same way as others do. I know it's off topic but I thought you should at least know that not everyone thinks thinking thoughts of revenge is bad. Of course, everyone practices their own way :)

one of the most effective means of protection is a simple white light meditation...but I am in agreement with the others, If you ignore it, then that person will see that thier spells are not affecting you, apparently this person is trying to scare you and control you in some way,(perhaps) but you can take comfort in the fact that all this energy that he/she is sending out, eventually will come right back to its sender.......(some people just love learning the hard way)...

in other words.....dont be bullied by childish "i will put a spell on you" lines

WildChild, :) I was agreeing with Lilu 100%,lol...I guess I was misunderstood :)...I do agree the best way to handle it is to ignore it, but if one just has to think they need to do a spell, let it be for self protection not paying someone back as the origional post on this strain stated. Y'all, I'm just not real good with words and this is the first time I have been a member of a forum...so please bear with me :)...I'll get better :)...and besides I am just a back woods country hick and am not as good with words as some of you are :)...lol

I voted unknown, because I feel that there are no winners in war. No I'm not a whiny "war is wrong" type person. I think that too many ppl die in wars to claim that one side won and the other didn't. And even if their was a winner.........winning doesn't mean that you were right it just means you had better military power.

I think that this whole thing of revenge, or not to revenge etc ties in quite well with the poll. I do think that war is wrong, espically when in trying to revenge the death of thousands, it means you have to kill 100's more.

As for the hexing, what's everyones opinion on binding spells?

demonblade - like everyone has said, I would also suggest to try ignoring it. Remember, only you can control you! And you can control your universe! So focus on the fact that you cannot be harmed, and you won't be. As far as magick goes. Also - this person, if they HAVE actually done something, will be effected by the "three fold law." Not everyone believes in it, but my personal experience is that if you do something to someone else, you get it right back times three. It usually effects you in a way you don't expect. Sometimes you don't even notice. But if this witch has hurt you or anything, they will probably feel the effects of it.

Here's one for you. I gather from your screen name that you're not Wiccan, but that's the tradition I know, so here goes. You should be able to adapt it for your own tradition. (And you may want to give yourself a more positive alter ego. In my experience, using a name like the one you're using will just invite trouble.)

First, go to the doctor and make sure you don't have a throat infection or a pinched nerve which might be causing you neck pain. Don't say anything about magical attack, just tell him how you hurt and let him do his job.

Then, get a necklace with a pendant you can wear, or a bracelet or a ring with a stone. It should be something you can wear without comment to school or work. Get a white candle, some salt, some water and some incense (cedar, sage, frankincense, sandalwood all would work well for your purposes). Cast a circle, light the candle and incense, and sprinkle the area around you with salt water. Sit and meditate. Visualize the spell that is on you. You say you feel hands around your neck, so visualize that. Say something like, "If there be anything here that cometh not in the name of the Powers of Light, then in the name of the Powers of Light, let it be gone!" Chant this several times if you need to. Then call on the white light from the candle to surround you and fill you and force the hands away from you. The farther they are forced away, the more they become like mist, until they just fade away completely. Say, "(name of person who bespelled you), you have no power over me!" three times. Mean it. Allow the white light to become a shield surrounding you, mirrored over so that anything approaching you from the outside can be bounced away without touching you. Now project some of that light into the piece of jewelry. Touch the jewelry to the water, and the salt, and wave it through the incense smoke and above the fire. Say something like, "I consecrate this ring to aid me in focusing my protective energies." Then fill the ring with white light energy. Put the ring on. From then on, if you feel the hands reaching for you again, you can touch the ring and focus on the white light and the mirror shield and drive them away from you.

Then avoid the person who bespelled you, and go about your life in a way which will let him/her know you are not afraid of him/her. Keep yourself positive. Don't try to "get back" at them. Karma will take care of that for you.

Try this one on for size.

Locate a mirror that you can see only your upper body in.
Look into the mirror.
Meet the gaze that your eyes cast.
Focus on them.
In you mind, ask for strength.

Now is the hard part.
