Tarot of the Moon Garden

I am just learning to read tarot cards and I have been using the Rider-Waite deck with a book that has pictures from that deck with their meanings until yesterday. I saw this gorgous deck that just jumped off of the shelf at me ( Tarot of the Moon Garden ) and I was wondering if any tarot book would do to go with them or if I should have the "Tarot of the Moon Garden" book.

Our the tarot book pretty universal or when you buy specific decks (and your still learning to use the cards) do you really need the coresponding book?

I would appriciate any responce to this question.

I have the deck and the separate book.

The deck, as most decks do, comes with a small booklet including card meanings. The book is nice but perhaps you would prefer to try the deck first, then think about whether you need the deck? I believe it is quite similar to the Rider Waite, just with prettier pictures :)

Most of the time when you really just throw away the book and go by your own perceptions you'll have a lot of fun anyway.

Merry Meet Sandra! The Tarot of the Moon Garden is lovely! & I agree with Myst ~ start with the deck and see how you get on, then if you really feel like you need the book get it later on..
But first let the energy of the moon garden capture you :D
