Ok.. So I'm dating a new girl and she and I have hit it off really well and I'm wondering if anyone can work out what our charts look like together..? How we interact and such as far as the Stars say... I'm very curious about this, but I still don't know enough to really work two charts and how they interact with each other and so on. Any help would be appreciated from anyone.

My info is :
November 14th, 1978
Lake Charles, LA (USA)
10:35 AM

Her info (not quite as specific) is :
January 10th, 1979
Scottsboro, AL (USA)
Early afternoon.. Best guess is between Noon and 3 or 4 PM.

Anything anyone could tell me would be great to read and know and I would be extremely grateful and appreciative (i.e. lemme pump you with some Karma for a week or two, *hint hint*).. =)

Thanks for any help peeps! =)

Hey there Krowe. Thanks for the request, I'm flattered. :)
I was away this weekend, with (gasp) no computer access, so I'm just getting your message this morning.

I'll post back in about an hour

I wanted to take the time to get as exact on your girlfriend’s Ascendant as I could. Based on the time range you gave me, she’s Taurus, Gemini or Cancer rising.

To narrow it down, let me ask you this – is Angela the type of person who likes to make plans and work methodically through them (Taurus), more versatile and adaptable and apt to just take things as they come (Gemini) or more emotionally vulnerable and sensitive (Cancer)? She’s got a very strong Earth element skew in her chart to begin with; so more of those Taurean qualities will be evident in her personality. If you can definitely say she’s one of the other based on that, then I can revise your below interpretation to include that info.

To review your relationship charts, I’m only going to compare her planets in your houses, and not vice versa. (See attached chart)

Right off the bat, I notice that her sun in Capricorn is sitting firmly on your rising sign. This is good to have. Especially since your two Suns are in a tight sextile to each other. Her Sun/Mars conjunction nicely sextile your Moon in Taurus – this works well with her strong earth sign signature as you both approach emotional matters in similar ways People with the conjunction I mentioned are often competitive and fond of sports. Such a fiery combination as the Sun and Mars can make for great liveliness and enthusiasm. There is a capacity for hard work and the her sights are set on solid achievement - also on the honors that go with it, fitting with her Capricorn Sun.

Mars is flammable and, when conjunct the Sun, can give a very volatile personality. She is likely excitable and subject to bursts of enthusiasm; sometimes being short-tempered and aggressive into the bargain. Because Mars is uncompromising, she is one of those go-getting, turbulent people who display scant consideration for others and are intent on making the most of their own opportunities. But, though quick to flare up, she is not usually one to bear a grudge.

You can't help but notice each other! Generally, this generates approval between you both--more specifically, your partner, offering a pleasant feeling of being able to be open and free in your presence, welcomes your approval and affection. You give each other an ego boost, and this tends to offer relationships a feeling of camaraderie and general agreement. You awaken all sorts of issues in your partner, and her very identity is on the line in this relationship.

This could conflicts from time to time, as you with the Scorpio Sun are quite ambitious, but prefer to play your cards closer to your chest and not flaunt them around. You were born on a Full Moon, so this shows that there are difficulties between you and the people you deal with. In addition, her Moon and your Sun are quincunx each other. You have a natural conflict between your emotions and your ego, and you unconsciously communicate this psychological hang-up to your romantic partners. You often act in a hesitant spurt of enthusiasm, which is followed by anguish that your action may have been ill advised. When you try to assert your own individuality, you are often torn by loyalty to those closest to you. You would prefer to have their full support so you could avoid the painful explanations and guilt that seem to accompany anything you want to do.

Relationships mean a great deal to you, and you long for someone with whom you can totally identify. Although you enjoy casual contacts, they never sufficiently satisfy your need to belong. You want a person who will fulfill your every need: love, friendship, sustaining you in your goals, sharing in your setbacks, fortifying you in your weakness, inspiring you in exploiting your creative talents, and sharing the full benefits of your combined efforts. A tall order, to be sure, and you will have to make concessions to obtain that kind of partner. You will have to be more giving than receiving, more compromising than obstinate, and more humble than arrogant. This too may be a tall order, but you can do it, or at least give it your best try.

With your Juno sextile her Venus, there is an emphasis on the romantic and aesthetic dimensions of your relationship. The sextile indicates the ability to infuse love and the appreciation of beauty with each other. Do you two work together on some sort of creative endeavor – painting, music, theatre, etc? If not, you would both get great pleasure and closeness out of such an activity. With her Moon in your sixth house there is an overtone of one person caring for the other, perhaps even relationship that evolved from a working situation.

The best thing you two can do for each other is to be emotionally supportive and work toward making each other feel free to communicate with the other.

Questions or comments are welcome.

Well... I've spent some time with her and I aksed her just to see what her response is and we both agree that she is more the Gemini influence. She is very mutable when it comes to life and it's events. A very shifting soil of sorts when you take in to consideration that she is an Earth sign with extremely strong Earth elements throughout almost every aspect of her chart.

To review your relationship charts, I’m only going to compare her planets in your houses, and not vice versa. (See attached chart)

So far this is a pretty fairly accurate description of her. Nice one. =)

This is extremely true from what I've seen. The second we saw each other it almost took our breath away (I know it did mine!). We've been starstruck ever since and all it takes is a 5 second conversation or just a simple look or knowing that the other is near to make either one of us burst into the smitten routine and make our whole day and life get that much cheerier. We also seem to have a very easy-going and natural feel and flow with each other. It makes for the least stress I've ever been involved with in a relationship, which is a HUGE bonus for me since I hate overthinking and stressing on these things. And she seems to be extremely satisfied and happy about the amount of indulgent adoration I lay upon her. =)

Well that sounds quite a bit like me. More so than any other person or reading I've ever recieved. My, but aren't you the insightful one? You are really VERY good at this, you know? =)

But back to the matter we are discussing, yes to all the above about my wants in a partner. And yes, I do realize it's a tall order. It's almost like looking for that "dream barbie" girl, which makes it extremely difficult for me to fulfill, especially with me being as picky and fickle as I am to begin with and my lack of enthusiasm for anything less than serious, all out commitment. I agree also with your description of what I need to be or doing to actually find someone along those lines and keep them. But, if there is anything that can be said for Scorpio's and me in specific, I am willing to go all out and do whatever I can to get what I want, especially when it seems like the risk and rewards are well worth the effort.

With your Juno sextile her Venus, there is an emphasis on the romantic and aesthetic dimensions of your relationship. We seem to be both a bit overly romantic and almost dreamlike in our perception and involvement in relationships and love interactions. We are both lovers of all the things that you mentioned, although we have not been together long enough to really concrete anything for us to share and be involved with together, although it seems like a very healthy and wonderful thing for us to get involved in and something I was already searching for to share between us. And it's quite funny you should mention her moon/my sixth house thing because, probably not surprising or amazing to you from the reading, we met at work. We both work at the same place and from the moment we laid eyes on each other we have been running headlong for the other's arms and never looking back or doubting the decision for a second.

The best thing you two can do for each other is to be emotionally supportive and work toward making each other feel free to communicate with the other.
Questions or comments are welcome.

Well, so far this has been no problem for either of us. I'm not sure, as I haven't really studied our charts and I still have quite a few problems/limitations with one chart, much less reading the synastry between two together, but I'm fairly certain that Saturn has a large influence in our charts and opens up communication between us in an astoundingly high and well rewarded manner. So far we have been able to talk about anything and everything that comes to mind with ease and have no problems, as of yet, with giving our full fledged support emotionally, verbally and physically. Thanks for everything that you've given so freely so far. So I guess I'll finish this in two sections.

Comments : You are WONDERDFUL at reading charts. I look forward to hearing anything else you can tell me about this chart or any others I might have some questions on. You are also very gifted at putting all this layman's terms for me, and others to understand. You rock, KEIshin. =)

Questions : Well, I'm a Scorpio. You KNOW I've always got questions, LOL. So here are the ones that most notably stick out to me that we haven't covered enough to satisfy my curiosity yet. =)

Exactly what influence does the mostly Gemini approach on life add to what you've covered? What is the outlook on stability? Long term commitments? Sexual and romantic compatability? Family, home and social interaction? Is there are big indication of emotional blockage and covering over of problems to keep the peace, or will we try and resolve issues as they arise? Also, from what I CAN tell looking at our charts, it seems that together we might have a very unrealistic view on life and it may cause us to become lazy/stagnant in many respects? Is this true or am I just looking at things wrong (I'm getting this mostly from Neptune placements)..? What are the negative aspects involved here, because I've noticed that you really haven't mentioned any and even I'm not fool enough to believe that our stars are THAT favorable. And here's the big doozy that I already foresee.. How big of a factor is domination and control going to be in our relationship, and will it cause a lot of problems? I know that Capricorns and Scorpios are both notoriously stubborn (more Cap than Scorp in all amazement to me) and that control is a huge issue with both (more Scorp than Cap, which is not surprising, but it is a pretty tight race in that department), so is this going to be a huge problem in OUR particular relationship and are there any influences/aspects which point to ways in which these issues can be resolved better? And lastly, where does Chiron, Eros, and any of these other rogue elements fit into our charts together, if at all?

Ok. That's about it. I know I ask a lot of questions and probably too much, but anything you can do or tell me is more than greatly appreciated (which I'm sure you already know you've befriended me and made a friend for life and that I highly respect your ability and talents, which is why I came here specifically looking for you when I wanted some answers about our Stars). So, anyways. Thanks again and I look forward to hearing what else youhave to say. =)

Peace!

Gemini she is then. That puts her bith time between 1:18 and 3:15 CST. Good call with averaging the time gap in the chart you posted - it's one of my common solutions.

Why this way? Just wondering if there is any specific reasoning behind this method of interpretation. =)
This is a way of looking at multiple charts when exact times aren't known. Because I DID have your data, I could cast your chart normally. Since the planets by sign are not affected by the birth time in each calendar day, I had that data from her. I couldn't get the houses and rising sign, for obvious reasons. So instead I took what I did have - your chart - and placed her planets in it. This way I could still see the interaspects clearly, which will give most of the info I need.

Well that sounds quite a bit like me. More so than any other person or reading I've ever recieved. My, but aren't you the insightful one? You are really VERY good at this, you know? =)
Thanks . Lots of practice . . . and many years of observing people.

I'm fairly certain that Saturn has a large influence in our charts and opens up communication between us in an astoundingly high and well rewarded manner.

I usually don't look at Saturn in the quickie charts I do here on MW, but . . . you have conjunct Saturns (not unusual considering the closeness in your ages), AC trine and Mercury square. Reserve and sobriety are characteristic of the harmonious aspects between Saturn and the Ascendant. You would rather be working than chatting with others, and often seem to detach from them, when really you are just observing their reactions. Normally Merc square Saturn would give me pause in a synastry reading, but given that its in the 11th, it just reinforces my previous sentence about being isolationists. You both have similar Saturns, so my guess is that you are two peas in a pod, when it comes to work and sense of responsibility, which is why you communicate so well - you think the same ways!

You have two Grand Trines and a Kite involving Saturn in your chart. In addition, Saturn rules both her Sun, and your AC - two of the biggies in Astrology. Your Saturns are ruled by . . . gee, Mercury in Sag, (see the pattern forming here?) which I can then have your Sun deposit out. So Saturn touches lots of points in your chart, even though the number of aspects is low.

Well, I'm a Scorpio. You KNOW I've always got questions, LOL.
No more than a Virgo dearie. *ducks under the shoes being thrown*
And I like questions . . . so:

Exactly what influence does the mostly Gemini approach on life add to what you've covered?

Beng a Gemini AC myself, my SO tells me it's like dating six different people at the same time. She will be (is) inquisitive, curious and desires to figure out how people and things work. Versatility and adaptability are two of Gemini's assets, but can give rise to too many diverse interests and the 'jack of all trades and master of none' syndrome. This Ascendant hates to lose alternatives; and being committed to one thing means excluding so many others. Since she has a strong earth skew, the ability to be analytical, detached and objective is a pressing need, but she's not likely to float off into the stratosphere.

When Gemini is rising, then Sagittarius is found on the 7th house cusp. Through a relationship, she is offered another your philosophical frame of reference through which to understand, explore and interpret life. The best partner is someone who can counter-effect Gemini's tendency to become lost in a maze of ideas or a web of inconsequentials. The broader vision and aspirations of Sagittarius helps Gemini rising maintain a sense of direction and goal, rather than being consequently side-tracked. In short, other people often provide the sense of overall purpose, which the Gemini Ascendant cannot find on its own.

You're the more dependable person in your relationship, but don't think that she's unable to handle her own things - she's just more likely to go "oooh, look, shiny" and run off after the shiny thing.

Also, from what I CAN tell looking at our charts, it seems that together we might have a very unrealistic view on life and it may cause us to become lazy/stagnant in many respects? Is this true or am I just looking at things wrong?
Yeah, that could be one interpretation of Neptune in Sag in the 11th. Idealism is the keyword here - looking at the world through rose-colored glasses. But there's an entire generation that has that placement, so you're not doomed. The danger here is that you both give so much of yourself to others that you neglect yourself, and later on feel cheated. Remember what the 11th house stands for . . . which means that your illusions revolve around people as a whole (the infamous 'them'). You both have a tendency to go off on wild goose chases, so try to keep those to rare occurrences.

Negative will express itself through the Jupiter/Juno/Chiron T-square and the Moon/Pluto/Neptune Yod in your two charts. The T is fixed, which means Chiron in the apex position will also tend to be the planet and area of life in which you are the least flexible and haves the most resistance to change. Opposing planets in Fixed signs tend to find a certain amount of stability if only because neither planet is willing to budge, but as they butt heads, they tend to discover some common ground and will usually come to some sort of a cease-fire agreement. With a fixed T-Square, however, this cease-fire between the Opposing planets may seem only to exist because each planet has decided to confront the apex planet as a common enemy. The lesson of the Fixed T-Square is one of flexibility, particularly with respect to 4th house matters.

With the Yod, you two can just get into a rut emotionally and keep pushing away at each other. This suggests a relationship that will require many adjustments over time. The Moon in Taurus is at the Yod's "release point" which suggests to me that the adjustments made in order to maintain the relationship will be material in quality, and undertaken in a stubborn and physical manner. "Show me the money" is the mantra here. Neither of you will be willing to change or compromise easily. The Yod just pushes you repeatedly and the solutions it shows are seldom simple. (It’s not nicknamed “The Finger of God” for nothing.)

Cap and Scorp aren't that dissimilar, being that they both share the feminine qualites of earth/water. But you are both stubborn. The only way you could be more stubborn is if you were both Taureans. Angela has active ambition and may lack follow-through, while you are sitting around building intricate plans and deeply resent being told what to do. Even though you may agree with her, you'd never show it. Scorpios prefer to brood over emotional issues in private. She's going to push, push, push you to fulfill her ambitions - get used to it if you want to stay in a relationship with her. Just as she needs to get used to you wanting to dole out infomation a portion at a time.

And lastly, where does Chiron, Eros, and any of these other rogue elements fit into our charts together, if at all?
I don’t work much with Eros, as I’m still studying all the interactions asteroids have with the major planets. I pulled out a few things regarding Juno above, which deals with marriage and formal relationships of that type. Asteroids are a huge task to cover . . . but Chiron I can help you with.

You both bear an ache from neglect or a feeling that what you have is never enough. This placement makes a person who (perhaps your parents were stingy with affection or even completely closed off from you) bears a mental or physical pain that weakens the spirit and body. At the heart of Taurus is a yearning for security and the pleasure of sensory stimulation: food, physical affection, and bodily nourishment. Taurus loves to indulge, but with Chiron in Taurus, you're never quite full; as your stomach can feel empty, so too can your heart. Rather than wallowing in the haze of your hunger for what you lack, Chiron in Taurus encourages you to appreciate what you have. By cherishing gifts you already possess, you can share what you've learned from your pain with others. Nevertheless charity begins at home.

You both often feel out of place or alien compared to those around you. Did you have issues with your father? Did he leave home; was he emotionally distant, or a bad parental figure? Remember that Saturn represents the father in the chart . . . so Chiron also takes on more emotional characteristics than it normally does. Therefore, you will need to watch your emotions to deal with the problems you find. Emotions are probably the biggest stumbling block you two will find in your lives with each other. It is possible that you could be narrow minded about much that you see that is wrong. Your home may be a popular habitant for rather needy people.

Keeping your mental and emotional balance is very necessary to your success. It is a similar challenge as mixing oil and water, difficult but possible and very necessary. Because of your ability to succeed in what you take on you will have considerable freedom to act on your own recognizance. This also increases your responsibility to recognize what the other sides of issues you take on have that would increase your understanding if you find a way to remain open minded and objective. Remember the lessons Neptune teaches – not all is as it seems. Few if, any people, are saints. Neither are either of you are all bad. You must learn to give the devil his dues and go on.

When you have problems in your relationship, the tendency will be to retreat away from each other, when what you really should be doing is talking it out. When issues arise, you need to react with your mind as much as you react with your heart.
