History: Mildeana is a Goddess of the continent of Atlantis. "She who is fair". Had a temple, which was destroyed by Conquistadors during the Spanish Inquisition. Now dwells in the Italian Alps. Great friends with Athena, Eros and Artemis.
Holiday (When and What to do): July 7th, wrestle and paint red around eyes, to symbolize the forsight of Mildeana.

Name of God/dess: Dustratha
Physical Description: nude, draped by her long hair down to her ankles. Skin and hair all greyish earthtones and dusty looking.

Controls what? (Health, Healing, Bathtubs, etc) Bellybutton lint, protection, creation.
Of what Element? Earth
History: In a culture that sees a god or goddess in everything, a man looked at his inward navel, and saw a crust. He wasn't sure what it was, but he had heard from a neighbor that humans were created from dust. He figured that this dust in his bellybutton was left from his creation. He then rationalized that since his bellybutton turned inward so far that it could possibly go deep into this body, that this "Creation dust" must be protecting his insides from this passage that was originally to connect him to his mother, out of the womb would otherwise be a gaping hole. Thus, he felt that this connection to his creation, stemming from his connection to his mother, made it a protective quality of the Divine.
Holiday (When and What to do): In the Springtime, you must contemplate your navel everytime you bathe. This shows homage to this goddess by respecting her creative powers and her protection of your piece of creation.
People the God/dess watches over: Everyone with a bellybutton, even if you were not blessed with an inward navel. Those with an outward navel simply absorbed the dust to form a fleshy plug.

Been there, done that several times :D

I named them the Sirens because they sing their magick. I'll post the profiles I wrote for them.

Stefanja, Siren of the Mysts, Goddess of Fantasies
Name meaning: Wearer of the crown.
Symbol: dragons, Western and Eastern, mostly red
Colour: dark blue, or any shade of blue
Element: water and water vapour
Sacred Items: conch shells
Appearance/dress: long blonde hair, dark, piercing eyes, fully human form, goes for either long flowing gowns that make her look irresistible or if she's in the mood, takes on a gothic/punk type look, lots of chains and black clothes and brooding make-up.
Song: happy, flighty, playful yet adventurous, surreal, with a constantly changing tempo; mostly uses flutes, piccolos, harps, xylophones, violins, recorders and piano to accentuate her song.
Sings to: (amongst other things) lure people into her realm of fantasy (like the fairy king/queen, i know) by catching their minds and controlling them. Sings purely to control people as well, and to create and send dreams and nightmares.
Rules: dreaming, sleep, imagination and the mind.
Personality: She isn't as innocent as she sounds. She is chaotic, unpredictable, whimsical, dreamy, imaginative and quick to anger. She has a mean streak that manifests itself in various ways depending on her mood. She often seems ‘off with the fairies’, but she can be dangerous if crossed. She can get insanely jealous. Her mood can change in an instant. She can possibly seem mad or obsessive, but she has a focus, a will, and a damn good brain. When she sets her mind on a victim, she’ll obsessively pursue them until she’s had her fun. She can think of plans at a moment’s notice.

Vehemently dislikes anyone disrespecting her and dismissing her as an airhead. Anyone who does this will feel the full force of her wrath, and she may punish them for decades. She never forgives those who cross her, and her vengeful streak is reserved for those she most wishes to punish. She is capable then of prolonged torture on her victims, usually keeping herself hidden and delighting in their pain and suffering. Of all the Sirens, her torture methods are the most numerous, varied and creative, both for physical and mental torture.

She dominates and rules the other Sirens through a combination of fear and intimidation, terrorizing her subordinates into loyalty, obedience and allegiance. She constantly reminds them that it was she who rescued them from certain death and that they owe her everything. Betrayers are set aside for her worst punishments and vengeance, as treason and betrayal are the things she hates the most.

Kalistasia, Siren of the Skies, Goddess of Vengeance
Name meaning: the black one is reborn
Symbol: feathered serpent (cf. Quetzalcoatl-esque)
Colour: light blues and greens, aqua, cyan, etc.
Element: Air
Sacred Items: feathers
Appearance/dress: Human form, long flowing gown, Grecian in style, elongated claws/talons, gleaming white sharp horns on her head, dark olive skin, and black, black hair. Golden gauntlets with rubies and sapphires in them.
Song: loud and angry, chaotic, prominent guitars and drums, verges on metal. Disconcerting to listen to, as it confuses the mind. Generally loud and angry.
Sings to: sound her attack, to confuse people and drive them to anger or rage, to incite violence and disorder and occasionally rebellion, depending on the situation.
Rules: The heart, limbs and the skeleton
Personality: First thing you must know about Kalistasia is that she carries a lot of hate, rage, anger and pain inside her. She was a tortured spirit before she was rescued by Stefanja and given her power. Hence, she is driven by a carnal lust for revenge against those who tortured her. She can get violently angry, holding grudges and never forgiving nor forgetting. You get on her bad side, she won’t stop until she’s destroyed you. she can be erratic, emotional and temperamental. She has a close allegiance with Stefanja, but one wonders at how easily Stefanja manipulated her to begin with.

Shappa Meri, Siren of the Flames, Goddess of Misunderstandings
(A.K.A Shappa the Betrayer)
Name meaning: Red Thunder Rebel
Symbol: grey wolf
Colour: bright blood red
Element: fire and flames
Sacred Items: wolf teeth, claws and pelts.
Appearance/dress: human form; goes for a hardcore punk look, especially anything that makes her stand out from the others. Likes coloured hair, chains and piercings.
Song: chaotic and constantly changing. A very individual mix of drums, flutes, violins, guitars, clarinets and oboes. Covers every genre and style.
Sings to: mix peoples words and actions, creating chaos and misunderstanding. She creates disharmony, frustration, arguments and tension.
Rules: The lungs, lips, eyes, ears and throat.
Personality: individualistic, detesting authority of any kind, hence she regularly comes into conflict with Stefanja. She hates being told what to do, and has a bad-ass mischievous streak that brings trouble wherever she goes. She’s persistent and determined. How she let herself be brought under Stefanja’s power is anybody’s guess, but she secretly plans a rebellion against her rule, leading Kalistasia and Karcyrah away from her. Likely to become Stefanja if she ever comes to rule.

Physical Description: Dark eyes, hint of cinnamon, all else beyond comprehension (because it's too early in the morning)

Controls what? Coffee consumption, Latte foam, and all else espresso-related

Of what Element? Fire

History: She was a simply Goddess. A small red berry Goddess. The coffee bean Berry Goddess. All else is history.

Holiday (When and What to do): Every morning 'round 6:30-8:00am. "Wake up" and smell the coffee.

People the God/dess watches over: "Morning Zombies" or "Those who have difficulty responding to the alarm clock"

Karcyrah, Siren of the Stones, Goddess of Darkness
Name meaning: dark man’s descendent enthroned
Symbol: open green cat’s eye
Colour: black
Element: earth, rocks and stones
Sacred Items: bells, domestic cats and cats of every description
Appearance/dress: human-esque with long claws on her hands and feet, sharp fangs/canines, and a feline face, She likes the whole gothic vampire-cat look, leather, lots of black, chains and spikes, and slitty cats eyes, a piercing green colour that proclaims her power. She has long black hair and a silver crescent moon painted on her forehead, the points facing up. She has a penchant for whips and chains.
Song: mournful, dark sad, slow, intense, sorrowful, not necessarily evil, but almost like a rhythmic heartbeat. Not necessarily sad/depressing/sorrowful either. Her song embraces the darkness. She uses cellos, bass guitars and double basses, clarinets, drums, bassoons and oboes.
Sings to: celebrate the darker earthier aspects of life, to bring and command dark spirits to go out and do her bidding, lulls people into embracing their darker sides to bring the light down.
Rules: stomach, intestines, circulatory system, nervous system.
Personality: calm, steadfast, the most stable of the Sirens. She is slow to anger, but because of this, when she finally snaps, she snaps the worst. However, she is the most forgiving of the Sirens, seeking to befriend people rather than set out to destroy them. Her aim is to balance the dark and the light in the world. She came to be rescued by Stefanja in quite an unexpected way. She’d been a restless spirit tied to and serving Ares and Set until Stefanja saw her potential and played a game of poker with Set to win her. She’d been rather bemused by the whole deal, seeing as though she’d been quite happy where she was. Stefanja spent some time breaking her spirit before gifting her power.

Ariella, Divine Feline, Wrath of the Gods, Siren of Darkness, Goddess of Wisdom
Name meaning: divine feline
Symbol: African lion, closed eye
Colour: red and gold
Element: fire mainly, but she encompasses and has reign over them all.
Sacred Items: the Udjat Eye (the eye of Ra)
Appearance/dress: Leather and mail, battle armour and toga-esque ensembles. Human form, yellow eyes, flame red hair that practically glistens and shines, as if it’s made from pure copper.
Song: bagpipes, drums, trumpets, triumphant sound with serious warlike overtones, with a classic rock sound.
Sings to: implement her attack, to strike fear in her victims’ hearts, and to strike terror in their minds. She will only go against deserving enemies. Her ultimate objective is to teach wisdom
Rules: the brain; muscles, tendons and associated parts.
Personality: Much more subtle than the others and the only one not rescued by Stefanja. She was sent by Ra to round up and control them, to bring Ma’at into balance again. She pretends she has allied with Stefanja while secretly continuing her alliance with Ra. She is cunning and secretive, a bringer of both justice and destruction. She does possess a certain wisdom and is the only one who can control Stefanja, and the only one Stefanja will listen to and trust. She uses this to her advantage to manipulate her into her own power so she can take her down and bring her into submission to Ra.
