What does it mean?

My Grandad passed 11 years ago.
I've dreamt about him often, though they felt more real than mere dreams.
The last couple though have me puzzled.
The first one..i was crying and telling him i missed him, i was hugging him but he just kept his arms crossed across his chest.
The one last night, he was alive but my nan had died and he was in the kitchen. I was chatting to him but he refused to tell me where he was living or his telephone number.
He looked the same yet there was this hardness about him...he was the opposite to how he had been in life. He seemed so uncaring and aloof.

I've dreamt two similar dreams now..what the heck does it mean?
I woke from the dream,well more jolted from it and cried my eyes out.
i just can't work out the meaning of the coldness that has come from him in the last two dreams.

I don't know if I can even attempt to tell you what it means...but I've had some similarly weird dreams about my grandfather...in many of them, he is "back" from the dead, but we can't actually touch him or talk to him or it will make him have to go back again...in some of the dreams, it's almost like I'm freaking out being around a dead person... not like it's my grandpa at all... maybe it's our spirit's way of telling our hearts we still haven't let go enough, and that if they'd stayed here past their time, it wouldn't have been right, like they wouldn't have been themselves anymore?
I don't know, I'm reaching for something here maybe but I don't know if I'm actually making any sense...
Sometimes in my dreams about him...it's hard to describe...it's almost like...have you ever read the story, "The Monkey's Paw"? :hairred:
