Is any one here in the habit of asking themselves for advise to be revealled via dreams? I read a book called "creative dreaming" (the author's name escapes me at the moment, sorry) which mentioned in breif the practice of asking the divine/the subconscious for advise or a specific prophetic vision. Does anyone know of any particular means of channelling cosmic knowledge via sleep? I recieve sporadic advise and I'm curious as to ways to tap into and control that ability for greater wisdom, good, and perhaps to help others psychicly.
Thoughts?
I realize this is an odd question poorly worded, so I apologize. Thanks for listening to my odd ramblings.

Sure, it's easy enough to do. An old adage says "sleep on it, and you'll know what to do in the morning."
Just tell yourself that you will work on (whatever question you have) while you sleep and your brain will do the rest. Sometimes you may get help from an ancestor or other helpful one. Sometimes you can figure it out for yourself. Just don't stay awake thinking about it. Go ahead and go to sleep.
In the morning, don't push or worry about the answer, just relax and usually it will come to you as naturally as if you got the answer from the morning news on the radio...
At least that is how it works for me, and has done for many years... :)

practice, trust, and more practice are all important. I used to work onsaying "I will remember my dreams" ten times first and then when that worked and remember dreams were more habitual then when needed I seek out my guides and ask if i could please have help wish issue X and make sure thats the last thing I think about before going to bed.
