My right are hurts after I've used the mouse more than 5 minutes. Then I switch to the left and it hurts. The same thing happens when I use a cell phone.

I'ts an ache in my fingers, up to my shoulder. I shake the energy off but it doesn't work for long. So I only can type 20 mins. or so and I keep my phone at the opposite end of the house.

Anyone else experience this?

It's good because I don't spend much time on the internet or gabbing on the phone!

That's carpal tunnel syndrome. You need a Massage Therapist.

Yep thats carpel tunnel. Being a copmuter tech i have problems with that too. Try finding a wrist brace, you can get them just about anywhere, it seems to help me out rather well. :)

Go have yourself checked out by your local physician, please.

Definately go get checked out!! I have recently started having problems with carpal tunnel and went out and bought a wrist brace. It really helps, but it's difficult to use my mouse with it on. But better to be safe...go get checked..and follow the doctor's suggestions.

Definitely get yourself checked by a physician before anything. Chronic pain is sometimes a sign that an illness might be coming up.

However, back to the original subject, I DO get pains, especially from handphones. No I don't have carpal tunnel, cos I am a IT person and I work at the computer like 8 hours a day. I don't feel the pain of handling a mouse, but when I walk around town with a handphone in my pocket, the area of constant contact hurts like muscle pain. It is gone when I switch the handphone to the other side, and then the other side starts to hurt.

These days I just carry the handphone around in a handphone carrier or in my bag, so there is less direct contact.

Anyways, for the time being, you can try getting these two crystals (they can be small 1 - 2 inch chunks) to help absorb negative energy and radiation. Try black tourmarine for absorbing negative energy and kyanite (the blue stone) for absorbing radiation. My sis tried it out and it works for her apparently. She also works at a job that requires her to be at a PC 10 hours a day.

Go see the doc.

Carpal tunnel can often be caused by the angle at which you hold your wrists as much as the repetative strain. It could also be tendonitis. But we can't diagnose here.

I was having trouble with Carpal tunnel because of the way I was sleeping. Hands all curled up at an odd angle. Stress was causing the way I was sleeping. I'm mentioning this so you can see it may be something else in your life brining it on.

Also you might want to try a different chair at the computer, sometimes that helps me.

This plus the other things mentioned might bring some relief.
Good Luck

How frightening. Sometimes the whole right side of my body goes numb because I'm on the computer too often, and I'm hoping it's nothing serious.

I don't actually know much of anything about carpal tunnel but I would hope that I don't have the same thing. :/
