Bad phone call tonight

Could you use some positive energy please...trying to wrap things up for my move and got hit pretty bad this afternoon by a major major negative phone call...

My former pastor gets called by my lawyer around 3 because she didn't have my new number (important to remember) tells him to have me call herASAP...he waits till 6:38 to call me..6:38 when the office is closed to call me...I can't get a hold of my laywer and I'm in pieces and crying and He told me he doesn't think it's urgent but how does he know..she isn't going to tell him if it is or not but if she is asking me to call her...*lightbulb..duh*..there is only one reason for her to call ..I hired her because of my ex and due to client privacy she is going tell him if it's urgent or not..but I think if she called looking for me..hello...

And what does my former pastor say..Oh guess you're just going to have to go through hell tonight , because I don't (referencing him) have the answers..when I ask him ..it's a lawyer why didn't you call me earlier because it is important....first he said I was at work..but I keep my cell phone on ALL day for things like this and in case I can't get reached at work and what does he do?? He hung up on me..What's messed up is the man is a counselor too..and he is telling me it's no f big deal..and hangs up...uhm..maybe because it's not his child...I thought it was very very rude he waited 3-3 1/2 hours to call me to tell me to call my lawyer and then goes...*duh, maybe it's not urgent* He even told me..lawyers never call if it's something important or urgent...Gee how lovely and to think I trusted him for in case of emergency and he tells me..there is nothign to be done... :wah: :wah: :wah: :wah:

I could use some positive energy...just a wreck right now..and I'm moving in less then 3 weeks!!!!!!!!!!

God I'm so angry and upset and in tears right now

Try not to think the worst. The attorney may simply have a question or information for you. Get some rest and think positive :hugz:

I'm sure if it was of extreme importance she'd have sent you papers and you'd have gotten them. Most likely it is about information. I wouldn't fret too much about it, but I would let her know your new number a.s.a.p. (I know what it's like dealing with attorneys)
