I was reading a article online the other day. Apparently they confirmed finding another planet outside our solar system. I was wondering what everyone thinks of this. Do you think these planets have any effect on us and our signs? Or do you feel as I was told by another earlier that they might not effect us cause they arent' in our solar system. I find the subject interesting so any comments on this would be most helpful.
*EDIT* I thought I'd add the article I got about this new planet. In case anyone is interested.

Hmm. Good question!
I don't look to extrasolar planets becuase they move too slowly in relation to our observations on the earth. That is how astrology got started in the first place - people observing that when a certain planet moved to a certain point in the sky, certain things happened every time.
Now if we look at astrology from that POV, any other planets would move too slowly or be too far outside the influence of any of the physical phenomena that many suppose makes astrology work. But at the same time, if astrology works with our planets here, shouldn't it work with those over there?
I don't know the answer to that. Many astrologers use fixed stars (which appear not to move), so it wouldn't be too far a stretch to go to 'fixed planets.' I need to ponder that some more . . .

Some astrologers will use TransNeptunians in their interpetations, but not all. They are viewed a lot like the asteriods, yes they are there, and they can give insight to a chart, but most of them cover such a specific area that they are only useful when looking at a specific aspect of a person's personality.

i would think that planet would simply change somewhat the meaning of the star it orbits from our point of view. if there are people (intelligent beings) of some variety in that solar system, it would be much more significant to them.

There is a clue as to what effect this planet will have in the name given to it: Sedna. She is the Eskimo goddess of the Underworld (like Pluto) and the Sea (like Neptune). Sedna's effects will be very subtle, but undoubtedly very profound on the human race. Think about it.
Uranus is the planet that rules freedom and rebellion. It was discovered about at the same time as the revolutionary war and the birth of America.
Pluto rules power like atomic energy and hidden things. It was discovered when Einstein and other physicists were delving into the quantum world.
We have to look at what's going on over the next few years and see what Sedna is going to mean to us. What major events are occurring in the world right now? What major discoveries are being made? Where is our progress headed? Answer these questions and ye shall find the meaning to Sedna.

Aincent texts relate to a planet that passed through our solar system every 4000 odd years. It was called Marduk and thats where the mythical Nefilim came from. Its supposed to be its closest to Earth in 2012, and when it does weird and exciting things are supposed to happen
