I just had a very wierd dream.

In it, it was pitch black and I was trying to cross the street. I had *finally* gotten to the medium (center), which had seemed like it took forever to get there, and I was attempting to cross to the other side. I saw three cars pass by with their lights, so I was thinking this wasn't so bad -- I could see when they're coming. The a motorcyle came by without his lights on and threw something at me and knocked me over. I think it was a fake baby. And then another car went by without their lights on and I thought "omg, this is going to be terrible."

So them I'm at this bridge (scene change) and in front of me is this city. It's absolutely beautiful. It's still pitch black and this city has so many lights. All different colors, it just glowed in the darkness, and I wanted to get to there.

However, on this bridge sat an old man. When I tried to get to the city, he denied me. He said it was still under construction. He said I had to go down the road under the bridge. I remember he was highly entertaining and I was almost lulled by him. But I snapped out of it, rushed him, got past him, and fell into the city. When I was falling into the city, everything cracked (like glass) and broke.

this how i see it..

the darkness is where you are at this point in time in regards to the situation, the lights from the cars are flashes of enlightenment in regards to the situation.. the fake baby that was thrown at you represent the obstacles you may face in regards to the situation and the man at the bridge may be your subconscious telling you your not ready yet..the fact that you feel it is taking along time could be that it will take time for you to reach your goal.. the fact that you can see the city means that even though there is still work to be done but you can see that you are not far from reaching your goal and it gives you incentive to keep going.. rushing past the man and falling and then everything cracking and breaking is a sign of your impatience to reach your goal but it is also a warning to not rush it as it could end up in disaster.. you cant jump in the deep end of the pool if you don't know how to swim..


it could well be that maybe you are trying to get somewhere or something that you aren't ready for..that you need to do the ground work for what ever it is that you want before you can reach your goal.. eg) a marathon runner doesn't just wake up one day and decide he/she is going to the olympics and then wins the gold.. they put in months/years of training to accomplish their goal.. its the same sort of thing when it comes to alot of things in life.. in order to reach our goals we have to be patient and put in the hard prep work first..
