Chat rooms/forums.

Just wondering what other Chat Methods/Chatrooms/forums people in here visit.

I started off in Yahoo chats, when I first got online. Pagan Lake. lol. Then...I got a webtv..and started using Talk City chatrooms. Then..I met someone from here, in one of those chatrooms, and she reffered me to MW....and ...here I am. And let me tell you..i MUCH prefer forums like this, to general open chatrooms. :)

I've tried Msn Chats, and AOL chats..but...i just don't get into it anymore.

Do any of you still use other chatrooms, or frequent any forums that have chatrooms attatched?

I don't do chatrooms, but I do check out the Delphi.com forums or sometimes the About.com forums.....they pale in comparison to what we have here, but I still like to browse them. :D

Before i joined MW it was Yahoo Chat Paganism rooms
now i dont even touch the chat rooms, go figure!

i still am a regular in a couple of chat rooms on dal net. i've been going to them for almost three years now... they are non-cyber, safe rooms that are well moderated and protected by a bot. i'm also an op so i get to do my share of keeping the room a safe and pleasant place.

We have grown in to an online group of friends. Many of us have actually travelled to other cities to meet each other.

i find it very supportive... but yes... one has to be careful where one hangs out.... it can be scarey out there... bb talamh

Where I post...... and have been posting for years........ one of them is now closed to the public and only available on email request.... and you must provide a non web based email addy .... due to intrusions and harrassment ...
I still keep in touch with almost ten people from an old online chatroom that no one visits anymore and have met half of them in real life and talk to my online "niece " on the phone almost every week.
Some of us have met in real life......some all the WAY FROM NEDERLAND HI MARDUK!!!!and FRANK!!! and talk on the phone......
And just recently someone that I havent heard from in a LONG time has come back around....... someone I love dearly .........and went through a lot with me........
And when I went to Paltalk...... there were even more people that I used to chat with at Pagan Wiccan there ........people from Wales and England .....Welsh Witches and Druid Archeologists and Musicians and Artists ... so many people .......
so I talk to them now on a regular basis as well.....we have fun!!! and I have met even more new people...... a wonderful Gardnerian from Up north who has sent me several CD"S of music......and Spirit Sister from Nova Scotia ...... and Swan Sister in Australia .....
LOL I could go on.......
and I have just found another new forum as well......but I am really liking the Voice Chats..... my friends voices and music .....hard to resist......

I got my foruming start at a role-playing game forum. The two I frequent now are both small, pagan-friendly boards run by friends of mine (and I'm an admin at one of them)

Well, for almost four years know I've been a regular at one of the MSN chats. Mists of Avalon, it's called and it's like my second home. This place could very well be my third...

I prefer chats to forums, becuase of the 'real time' aspect. MSN was much, much better a few years a go before they desided to 'improve'. My only other taste of forums, before I came here, whare usually bad and very, very slow. I'd leave for a month and come back to see not a single responce. Mysticwicks is amaizing...

Before here, I was in AOL's 710 chatroom, which is a chatroom for Deadheads.

But now, I'm here nearly 99% of the time, but I've just subscribed to 2 music boards, one for Metallica & the other for Godsmack. Godsmack's boards are very VERY cool. They got neat smilie's a lot of the same that we use, but then they have others, that, well, since we're rated PG, we can't use, but they have a drummer, a pyscheldelic one, and a few others.

does buddy chat count? Cause, if I recall Shadowulfe, YOU DO particpate in chat rooms. the MW buddy chat! That's my new place to hang...when we're all on together that is. :D

well i still use MSN messenger becuae a lot of my friends use it ... and it is easy to communicate with them through it ... then there is MW which is by far the best forum/chat i have ever been on

I'm one of those technically challenged people. I have problems with my mechanical pencil, let alone figure out chat & stuff. I'm just glad to be able to find my way back here everyday. :p
