is there any magical or non-magical way to break a bad habit?? (ex. biting nails, cracking nuckles, smoking...you prob know what a bad habit is lol!) anyway, help is MUCH appreciated. and i am a Christo-Pagan so if there are any magical ways please take that into consideration  i've tried to pray about it, and i will keep praying about it but a lil extra magical kick wont hurt ;) or if its like steps or something to breaking a bad habit thats cool to! whatever works!

Maybe depending on the habit...

Sheer determination works better than any magical working you could do. If you want something bad enough, you don't need anything else.

For some habits substitution works well. You substitute something (or multiple things) that you can accept better (closer to what you would rather be doing) that still fills most of the needs the old habit did. The trick is recognizing why it is you do what you do and what will fill it. Sometimes it works well in steps, weaning yourself off of it.
For example: some smokers do well with gum (keep mouth busy.) Some need something for their hands. Some need to work out social interaction.
