Good Samhain Spreads?

For any of you doing special readings for Samhain, what spreads do you like to use? I'm going to use a 20 card 'new year' spread, but am interested in other ideas too..


(I'm going to try to format this, but don't know how it will turn out.)

New Year Spread (From "Power Tarot")

... .3. ... ... .11 ...
.4. .5. .6. .12 .13 .14
... .7. ... ... .15 ...
.8. .9. .10 .16 .17 .18
... ... .19 .20

They interpret it as:
1-2: What you bring forward from previous year
3: Winter overview
4-6: Jan, Feb, Mar
7: Spring overview
8-10: Apr, May, Jun
11: Summer overview
12-14: Jly, Aug, Sep
15: Fall overview
16-18: Oct, Nov, Dec
19-20: What you will take into the next year

I might change around the months a bit, starting it with October, and changing the overview cards to the Sabbats.

Okay....this is one of my own, spur of the moment, on the spot, made it up spread. ;)

Lay them out in numerical order:

5.................4

Read them in this order:

7. This year's Major Influence
1. Samhain seasonal influences
2. Imbolc seasonal influences
3. Beltaine seasonal influences
4. Lughnasagh seasonal influences
5. This year's obstacle
6. This year's achievements

I like that one. I've never seen/done a spread that you pull/read in a different order. I like that! Gives me all sorts of different ideas. Thanks..

Well....like I said, I made it up.....and when I looked at it, it somehow just made sense to read it in the order I suggested. <shrugs shoulders> ....and ending it with 6. Achievments....just leaves it on an up-beat note, ya know? :nyah:
