I have drawn these ever since I was a teenager, I call them thoughts on paper, because I figure they are just my thoughts working themselves out. This is the first time I have ever shared one so please be gentle. Note that I also write poetry and work a minor amount of computer art.. So this is a combination of all three please let me know what you think. And keep in mind these are drawn with a regular ball point pen on scrap paper this particular one was drawn on a peice of manila folder with several different pens...

Wow... I can see so many different ladscapes and images taking shape in those lines. I don't really care for the purple on black rendition, but I like the drawings. Very fluid. I used to do something similar in high school with sword shapes.

Very pure, like thoughts or feelings that haven't been shaped into words or ideas yet.

I thank you both for taking a look, and giving me your honest opinion.

Well, I like the lines in your work. But, for the most part, I think abstract art sucks.

LOL it's an acquired taste, I merely see it as interpretive, to ones personal view instead of abstract.

But I appreciate you comments...

Nice line work!

I for one adore abstract art... while I admire the skill of those who can do realism, if I want a realistic picture I'll find a good photographer (which is an artform in itself! :) ). I think abstract forces you to be creative and to find newways of representing things. Most of my own stuff represents moods and emotions. :)

abstract can be awesome, it's not for everyone but depending on the work I tend to find it facinating :)

great work my friend, very interesting

Love the abstract art and with the attention to form and line...have you ever thought of making it in fabric or other media? I can picture some really cool art quilts or something.
