I'm just wondering.....there are many of Earth, but they mostly relate to agriculture or fertility. :)

I know this is probably a completely unhelpfull post, but if you think there is a rock god or goddess it doesn't really matter if you know its name, or rather whatever you think its name would be would actually be its name then. It's appearance is whatever you think it is. Your beleif in it is what creates it.

Sorry if I am being confusing(I confused myself as well) or unhelpfull.

I would suggest looking into deities that have to do with mountains or caves and then try to discover one with an emphasis on rocks. Also, many gods or goddesses who have no power over rocks but are traditionally worshiped with rocks, rock piles, etc.

I did find information on Terminus to be interesting:http://www.pantheon.org/articles/t/terminus.html .

Good luck!

Geb is an Earth diety that I could see as being connected to rock(as he's seen as actually being the earth)...Set and Nebt-Het are both connected to the desert and that might work. Aside from that I can't think of anyone else, hope you find some help :)

There is a very specific Russian Goddess of the Urals who specialises in being a goddess of precious and semi-precious gemstones - she features as the "Lady of the Mountains" or "Mistress of Copper Mountain" in the famous folktale - The Stone Rose of which there is a telling of it at this link:

http://www.ravenari.com/vilturr/folk/stoneflower.html

The Mistress, or the Lady, commands the dwarves and all the stone carvers of the Russian region - and any who propitiate her. She is a firm, but just goddess, who has a love of beauty, and a love of the life within all gemstones.

She appears as grey or pale skinned (she spends all her time in mountains, it is thought), and is a woman of great force. It is often thought that her energies alone help the mountains to compact sand into precious stone. She is dressed in long, flowing gowns and wears malachite jewellery of the highest quality. She is best worshipped near places where precious gemstones, or semi-precious gemstones (even just quartz) have been found.

they aren't gods...but what about the elementals that represent their respective areas? Gnomes are one that comes to mind for rocks/earth.... Don't discount Gaia...she is Mama Earth, after all.

JMO and YMMV,

Elise

Gaia is viewed as having dominion over the entire earth, rocks or not. Hades also is viewed as having dominion over subterranean areas, precious minerals and so forth.
