[SIZE=5] Hello all!! My name is Lilly, and I'm new to all of this. : )
Can anyone give me a clear interpretation of something in my chart, that I really don't know what it means? I'm very impatient! lol.. : )
First off, I'd like to know what my Midheaven in Cancer in the 10th house, could possibly mean. I'd also like to know why I have my Vesta in Cancer in the 10th house, as well! Ohh! and as for my ascendant?? Well, its in libra in the first house, but then, I also have my Pluto in the first house-exceppt that this time, its in Scorpio!! SHOCKING!! WOWWEEEE!
So what does this mean? That I'm "rising in two signs" or something??-(Since I have two 1st houses, but they're both in different signs). It'd be REEEALLL nice if someone could respond to me real soon!! Thanks!
Much Love, and Kisses!!

first of all, for us to get a better look at your chart, please post your birthday, time of birth and place. Most of us don't like to do interpetations based on vagueness... and personally, I have a difficult time doing interpetations without a chart to look at.

Going backwards, no, you don't have two rising signs. The rising sign is the sign that occupies the cusp of the asc, not what occupies the first house. The first house is the first house, it's kinda like your home. Your kitchen and your bedroom are both in your house, but they signify different parts of your life in your house. A house in a natal chart can include one, two, and sometimes three different signs, but each sign does not create a seperate house... same as each different room doesn't create a new house.

On a side note, the ruler of the house gives us more information as to how your work through that house. So, as far as your question on the Cancer MC, it also depends on where your Moon is and what aspects your Moon makes. If you want a general statement, a Cancer MC usually shows that your 'public' life can come off as being shy and quiet. Look for work that is based on a homey feel. Working out of home, a stay at home mom, realestate, cleaning, ect. It's quiet the wide range and difficult to pinpoint without further chart info.

Astrology is based on trends that show in a chart, one aspect often doesn't show the whole picture.

My... that is an interesting chart.

First thing: Your Moon (10th house ruler) is located in Capricorn in the 3rd house. It is conjunct with Cappy Saturn (very serious and hard worker) and Sag Uranus (likes to explore new ideas and ummm, shake up the traditional way of thinking) and Cappy Neptune (takes the unknown and 'strange' things in life more seriously than others).

Though the Moon is in detriment in Cappy, I don't see this being an issue when it comes to your choice of career. With Capricorn being the natural ruler of the 10th house, it creates a kind of mutual reception with the two, making it easier for them to work together better in this area than in the other areas of your life.

With your Sun being in the 5th house, you'd really do best in situation where you can have fun while you work. Serious jobs just for the pay just won't satisfy you the way that a fun job can, though you'd keep at it just because it is work.

You also have a very strong trine between Jupiter in Aries 7th and Mars in Sag 3rd. The two planets are also in mutual reception. There's a strong drive to work with others and to teach... anything.

All in all, you'd want to find something that would incorperate all of these aspects of your chart into a career choice. First thing that comes to my mind, have you ever considered Early childhood education?

woowwe! That was cool. : ) Thank you so much!
And no, although i LOVE children of all types, I have never wanted to pursue early childhoohd education. My mother is a teacher, and I have seen firsthand what it is like, and let me teell you, it is NOT pretty! The pay is not good, and there is no fame and very little "public recognition" for the work...so although it sounds like fun, it is not enough to attract me.
For some reason, i've always been drawn to the entertainment industry, and/or politics-singing, acting, performing, getting up in front of a public, etc...I love to entertain, to make people happy...Ifame/fortune has always seemed attractive to me. : )
hmmm...What do u think about such a choice, within regards to my birthchart??
Again, thanks! : )

well, let's see. The one who rules entertainment/arts/social settings is Venus. She is not one of the strongest planets in your chart. Sitting in the 6th Aries, she starts off being in detriment. Many people with this placement find beauty in different places. Exp.I have an Aries Venus and have a tendicy to be very tomboyish and find things that are darker in nature as beautiful.

She does have a very tight conjunction with the asteriod Juno, who rules marriage. It shows that you get very attacted to things of a Venus nature. It also gives a bit of an insight to what kind of wife you would make. With Venus being your chart ruler, this attactment to Venus things prevails through your whole life, which certinally explains your love of performing.

The biggest issue that I see is that your Venus makes a square to a conjunction between your very strong Saturn and Uranus.

Saturn is at 00Cap01. Located in it ruling sign and at a critical degree, it holds a lot of weight in your chart to begin with. Your Uranus is at 29Sag58. Sits at a critical degree, but in a neutral sign. This combination screams an ability to put new, innovative ideas (Uranus) in a hardworking, stabile context (Saturn). With Sag ruling this like philosophy, higher education and politics, it's no wonder that these things attract you.

Also, those thing are ruled by Jupiter, and that tight trine between him and Mars will also strengthen your interest in those area. In addition, your Uranus and Saturn trine your Jupiter as well.

Now, the square between the Saturn/Uranus conjunction and Venus will always be previlent in your life. If you choose to follow the entertainment industry, I think you will always be having second thoughts about it and thinking that you should have gone into politics. On the same note, if you go into politics, you'll always be thinking that you should have gone to the entertainment industry. With Saturn/Uranus being stronger than Venus, there is the possibility that if you choose the entertainment industry that you will find your self being pulled back out of it against your wishes... those planets will always demand more attention.

Your Sun, being in Aquarius supports the idea of getting into politics above entertainment.
Leo cusping your 11th supports politics.

Between the two, I'd pick politics.

As far as fame and fortune in a chart, that is determined by the choices that you make in the area that your persue. You've definately got the work ethic to pull it off :)

wow Valerie!! That was even better! : ) Thanks a lot. It was quite insightful... : )
u also have aries in venus??- what's your sun, moon, and ascendant in, though? I thought that the midheavn and the ascendant had a lot to do with the career and the "interests" of the person. But I guess the moon and sun are also very important.
Earlier, you commented that my chart was "interesting"....what caused you to say this?
Lol..I ask a lot of questions. : )

The traditional 'work' houses include 2nd, 6th and 10th house. Those houses, their rulers, and planets in them as well as planets in the natural rulers of those houses are the best ones to get clues on how a person works. As far as the Sun and the Moon, what is the good of having a job that doesn't reflect who you are and how you feel?

The asc is more indictive of how the world sees you. World being people at large, not those who are close to you. It's more about first impressions. With yours being in Libra, you probably come off as being very social, likeble, and are probably fairly attractive.

As far as your chart being interesting, if you include the sextile between your BML and Chiron, you have a Grand Sextile in your chart. I find that it indicates a rounded person in the areas that the GS points lay in, but on the same note, the chart is very bottom heavy. Home and family are rather important to you.

Don't worry about asking a lot of questions, it's not often that I actually have the time to partake in this forum.

As for me, Taurus Sun 11th house, Cancer Asc, Pisces Moon 9th house. My Aries Venus is in the 10th and heavly aspected so it gets blended to other areas. :)
