The Red Iktomi

From an overhanging beam, a red spider slowly decends towards the ground. As it decends, it begins to get larger, by the time that it reaches the ground it's about the size of a small dog. It scuttles under a table and towards the group. As it moves it shape begins to blur. From the blur, strides a man dressed in red breeches, boots, tunic and cloak.
There is a wide brimmed hat (also red) that is pulled down and distorts his face. A hilt is visible thru a slit in the side of the cloak, and the figure is holding a large walking stick, it is capped with what could be a largepiece of amber that contains a spider trapped within.
In a voice that sounds as if it has travelled thru the ages, the figure removes his hat in a sweeping bow "May I join your little band?" He replaces the hat upon his head, and although his
face has been exposed, you would be hard pressed to describe it, almost as if his face has defied your memory.
"I am called The Red Iktomi, and long have I travelled, and many lands have my wandering paths crossed. I am at your service."
But on a more serious note, I live in Dayton, am married with a little boy, will be thirty before the end of the year, am a paid jackass, enjoy writing have been a member of the pagan community for about 10 years or so, and have almost constant car trouble.
The rest is irrelevant.
