Try the Drs. Foster and Smith catalog. They have a lot of equine supplies and great information.

Or contact a tack shop or large animal vet in your area, they can probably steer you right, although after 5pm on a Sunday is not the best time to try to find this kind of info. Sorry.

A regular worming program is essential for your horse’s health!!!

It needs to be done approximately every 8 weeks,
And it’s important to rotate the type of wormer you use.

Size and age of your horse will decide the dosage.
But I’ve never seen a commercial wormer that didn’t have the proper dosage clearly marked on the packaging.

Zimecterin and Fenbendazole ( by Safe Guard ) have always been my favorites.

But what sort of wormer you use, also depends on what type of “usage” your horse is getting.
Week end pleasure riding or light Equitation / Pleasure horses (showing) won’t be as susceptible to side affects as say a horse that’s campaigning heavily in hard Physical events.

My Hunter / Jumpers, and 3 day Eventing horses tended to colic easily when I used certain types of wormers.
I had to be very careful about worming them.

Cost of wormers depends on what type of wormer you buy, whether you get it from a Vet clinic or a feed store, or order it "on line"
It also depends (like everything else) whether you're buying one dosage, or 20 dossages.

Question here ….
What is it that you need this information for???
And why are you in such a hurry for it??

There will be lots of info. “on line” … but a far better place to get this sort of information would be from a Veterinarian, or Feed Store owner or manager, or a knowledgeable / experienced horse owner who you can go talk to in person.

Here are a few web sites you might look at

I wish you luck in your search for information!!

thanks for the web sites, the reason I need this is for a pony club book....I know what to use but you see I've been here in Germany for a year and normaly I would do my own horses and it wouldn't be a big deal.....but I'm not at home and I have forgotten what to give them, my horses are outsied all the time and only come in to the barn when the wather is really bad. and they do a lot of 3 days envents and fox hunting, I just can't remember the names of some of the worming paste, like last year I used Panicure 5 in the summer and you give it to them for five days.....but the other stuff I can't remember! Like what to give them in fall winter and spring, and my mom is coming to Germany and I need to have the book done before she comes because she is taking it back home with her, and she's coming tomarrow......I will look again on those web istes thanks for the time!
